Rioters targeted municipal buildings, town halls, and libraries in various major cities, stores were looted, and all hell broke out nationwide as the government deployed 40,000 police officers yesterday afternoon to quell the violence. About 200 officers were injured overnight in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, where the teen was killed.

The unrest is so bad that President Emmanuel Macron left an EU summit in Brussels, where he will hold another emergency security meeting Friday, AFP reported, citing his office.

Video and pictures on social media of the rioting are absolutely shocking.

They have a lot of trouble there, especially with all the immigration they have allowed from the slums of the middle east where doing things like this is the normal response.

Macron did his best to pour gas on the fire too, while prejudging the investigation. He's blaming the cops, saying what they did wasn't justified.

The media, as usual, merely says the "victim" failed to comply. A bit of an understatement.

The poor quality and highly edited video just shows the cops at the car window, at least one already has a firearm pointed towards the driver saying stop. The driver has to turn left away from the curb to leave (not shown but obvious this had to happen for the car to leave).
Then the still shot of the car down the road, crashed into a light pole.

Now you have the dead guy, one they detained but have released, and another unknown yute that fled and is on the loose.

I hope all those leftist idiots with the "we welcome immigrants" signs are close to the action. Hate for them to be left out of all the enrichment of their culture.

Of course he was at an EU summit in Brussels...
These globalists don't intend to preserve nation-states. Violence and destruction are a feature, not a bug.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Not to get picky, but I think the proper conjugation is “Les Immigrants”. Just sayin’…

Why don’t the French simply take up their constitutionally protected arms and do what should be done?

Oh. right.

The guys in the first video wildly firing the AK's in the air. Amazing they didn't get smoked.

Pretty sure if that happened in my neighborhood cross fire from neighbors would be more of a concern than how many rounds they got into the air.

My wife and kids are in France at the moment. Even on the west coast in the little town of Brest close to where my wife is from there was rioting and destruction/burning of property. Yesterday Brest just summarily shut down all public transportation without notice at 6pm cause they were expecting unrest leaving a lot of people trying to find new ways to get home from work. Yeah, things are a mess in France right now. I'm flying over there in five weeks.

It's the same bullshit that we have to deal with here. Some dumb cocksucker breaks the law, resists arrests, and ends up getting himself killed. So of course that means burn it all down.

Even without guns they are showing more fight about immigration and increasing the working age than Americans have. We’re talking about the French populace having more gumption than the American public which is unbelievably sad.

Who in their right mind would release a suspect without getting the name and address of his accomplice from him? Seems like police/prosecutor misconduct to me.
