| Sponsorship dollars have been a thing for a long time, just without racial connotations in the past.
Does anyone think Jr to Hendrick was because of his talent behind the wheel? Honestly?
Does anyone think Paul Menard would have a job anywhere other than his dad’s lumber yard if he didn’t have a 20+ million dollar sponsor he brought with him?
What Jordan/Hamlin is doing is purely a publicity stunt, but it’s far from the first time. |

My brother, who had some experience with Nascar used to say that Junior was a nice guy but if it weren't for his daddy, he'd be working behind the counter at a NAPA store. |
