Or, in other words, the lower-middle-income man's collection.

Windham Weaponry WW-15
Marlin 795
Remington Wingmaster 870
Glock 19
Ruger GP100

Not high-end for sure. The cost of all this would equal one nice 1911. Does one need more than these five?

You're on here a lot, aren't you.

I saw your post in my other thread, where you readily agreed I was going to stiff someone on a deal. If I was trying to do that, why would I post about it? What would I gain from advertising my devious ways on this board, where I also sell a lot of stuff? Why would I need your support to rip someone off? Logic not your strong point is it?

In fact, here is how my last transaction went on Sigforum.

I would have gone 10/22. Other than that you got most of the basics covered. You still need a 1911 though. Cool

You can't have too many guns. Remember this when you decide to buy a gun safe.
Bigger is better.

P226 9mm CT
Springfield custom 1911 hardball
Glock 21
Les Baer Special Tactical AR-15

Now go spend $1700 on a decent 1911 to complete your collection.

Blaming the crime on the gun, is like blaming a bad story on the pencil.

I think that's a great collection for the money. I would agree with Sgt though that you need a 10-22, especially if you have any younger ones around that you could take plinking. It's a gun most of us were introduced to firearms with and continue to break out for fun many years later.

You're a sensitive one, aren't you? If you know that he's on here a lot you should also know that 12131 is one of the most level headed sensible members SIGforum has. You should appreciate the humor in his post rather than getting your knickers in a bunch.

Stlhead's post was a dose of reality. A one sided story carries about as much weight on the internet as the fact that he implied you were trying to stiff him.

Had this transaction happened on SF, this thread would have been torched a long time ago. Maybe the other forum is different in how classified disputes are handled which is by working through the admin, at least once they start getting tricky.

Good job on the MacBook deal and how you handled that, as it should be.

Oh, it's being handled on the other board, trust me.

And this didn't happen on Sigforum, did it?

And about 12131, I was just defending myself against his wrongful assumption. I guess that's not allowed here, defending oneself I mean. 12131 does have a much higher post count than me, so what he says carries more weight, I'm sure.

I didn't say anything about his post count, I referred to his post content.

I do appreciate the humor in his post. On this thread.

I also was just referring to his post. On another thread.

Well, to answer his question, I didn't send cash.

I wouldn't. Only an idiot would do that.

It would've been nice of 12131 to stay on topic in this thread. And really this thread is about guns, not 12131's sense of humor.

Actually, these are not the only guns I own, but the ones I presented as a good basic collection for the money.

I do have a 10/22 already.

Well you have no sense of humor. As far as the guns go, it's a perfect base for a gun owner, or even better every gun you need. I'm missing a wheel gun and shoty. Next purchase will probably be the shotgun.

Gotcha. That's a great example of having all your bases covered for a reasonable sum.

A sensible and, in my view, cost-effective selection.
