Commie Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-Macarena-Hey-Macarena defeats 10 term Democratic incumbent Login/Join

According to sources, her constituents have turned against her. Here is the story from the NYP:

Amid her zeal to save the world with the Green New Deal, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has ignored residents in her own Bronx back yard.

“I thought AOC would be our savior, but that’s not the case,” complained Roxanne Delgado, a local activist who said she has tried for months to get in touch with the congresswoman for help saving an animal shelter and to clean up parks in the district.

Delgado, 40, says she has made numerous calls to Ocasio-Cortez’s offices in Washington and Queens and sent a barrage of tweets after the freshman lawmaker encouraged residents during a recent visit to a Bronx public library to hit her up on social media.

But she’s heard nothing back.

“NO email or contact on @AOC’s page except DC number which has full #voicemail and no one picks up,” Delgado tweeted on Monday.

The Post made several calls to both the Washington and Queens offices last week. The same recording at both numbers gives Ocasio-Cortez’s Web site and doesn’t allow a caller to leave a message.

The website includes a “scheduling request” form that visitors can fill out to ask for a meeting.

Another Bronx constituent told a community gathering last month that they needed Ocasio-Cortez for a sitdown with post-office officials to sort out difficulties he was having with mail delivery.

“I want AOC or a representative from AOC to be there,” Anthony Vitaliano, a former cop and Community Board 11 member, said at a Feb. 28 board meeting.

Vitaliano, 78, also wants Ocasio-Cortez to pressure Amtrak to clean up graffiti at property it owns on Tremont Avenue.

“You know, I appreciate what she’s doing, but she has to represent us,” he told the board gathering, where other elected officials — from the city and state but not AOC’s office — sent staffers.

Vitaliano told The Post: “She has to address these local issues. Her district is everywhere else in the US. Her heart is not in The Bronx.”

By contrast, he said, residents’ needs received much more attention under Rep. Joe Crowley, whom Ocasio-Cortez unseated in a surprise primary upset last year.

The longtime congressman’s Bronx district representative, Thomas Messina, regularly attended community board meetings, according to Vitaliano.

“Tommy cared about us,” Vitaliano said.

Although Ocasio-Cortez tweeted about improving mail service in The Bronx this month, Vitaliano said he was still experiencing problems and waiting for her office to arrange a meeting with post-office management.

And although a Bronx community rep for Ocasio-Cortez visited the graffiti site, nothing has happened, he said.

Meanwhile, Delgado noted the animal-shelter site was spared — thanks to help from the City Council and the mayor’s office.

Making access all the more challenging for her constituents, Ocasio-Cortez has yet to open an office in The Bronx.

A rep for her told a Bronx community-board meeting in January that the congresswoman was having difficulty finding space.

“If you have any leads, please send them our way,” said Naureen Akhter, a deputy district director for Ocasio-Cortez’s office.

This is what happens when you allow a beer-pouring, uneducated, immature child to sit at the adult table. I certainly hope these constituents are smart enough to oust her next time around. But sadly, I doubt they will...

I am guessing he is referring to her Hispanic heritage and overly emotional arm movements, not political ideology.

Khrushchev was cunning, ruthless and manipulative. It took both luck and cunning to survive Stalin and his purges.

Do you? How many votes were cast in her district for the opposition vs. the twit? The Democratic Primary was almost uncontested and even then she barely won.

Given her demonstrated ineptitude/idiocy, those interested in another candidate will certainly be motivated to vote next time around. The media is making her to be a Demigod, but their antics have been exposed... not that Liberals give a shit outside their party.

FYI, FDR died in 1945, then on February 6, 1947, the process to amend the Constitution with the 22nd Amendment began.

She is batshit stupid.

And they're not even her agendas exactly. She's just the mouthpiece. Though she probably agrees with them.

Someone should smack her constituents in the face with the reality that, this is exactly what happens when one votes based on identity politics and emotion as opposed to responsibility voting for the best candidate regardless their skin tone or gender. Reap what you've sown retards. And thanks for saddling the rest of us with her mental retardism.

On youtube, someone who adores this imbecile posted a video of her rant this past week in the House Financial Services Committee meeting, characterizing her bullshit as "giving it to the Republican". In the comments section of that clip, someone said "She's going to be President someday".

It's the clueless leading the clueless, and some people who don't have the first coherent thought about American politics consider this fool to be their savior. It's the equivalent of making a baby laugh by shaking car keys in their face.

It truly is the movie 'Idiocracy' playing out in real life. In the final take, I think AOC will have a very short shelf life.

I said this many pages back, but my bet is that her undoing politically will be the failure on the part of her and her staff to understand that the real key to long term power in Congress is having a great ground game at home in the district and being a deal maker in Washington. So far she has shown no interest or ability to do either. The people backing her also do not seem to really understand how things work in the halls of Congress. She is pissing off the leadership and other members and will find out eventually that she needs them to get any thing done. Her voters will feel the effect when there is no pork to be shared back home, and if she's ignoring the importance of having a good field staff handling constituent issues at home, she's easy pickings for a primary challenge by someone who will promise to work for the district, not be a do-nothing politician grandstanding in the national media. It's also becoming clear that she does not have experienced people on her staff.

Spot on. She has no constituent services operation and that will be her political end.

She'll coast to reelection in 2020 and then her district will be eliminated after the 2020 Census.

She won against a 20 year incumbent who was considered a contender to replace Pelosi. The demographics of that district have become strongly Hispanic, and it's very left leaning. Nothing she's saying is going to piss off a majority of the primary voters there. And it's the Democratic primary that matters, because no other party is winning a general election.

Thanks for finding and posting that YouTube video. I saw it on Twitter a couple of days ago, but don't know how to embed a video from Twitter (another topic of course). Notice the guy at around 0:19 nodding his head muttering "Uh huh" while learning "something new."

Yeah, Congress overwhelmingly passed the 22nd Amendment due to Roosevelt's "Guns and Butter" policies. Dewey defeated Truman in what should have been FDR's next term. However, the House of Representatives then impeached Dewey after he was exposed as a Communist. Lacking a President and a written process for determining a replacement, Parliament stepped in and appointed Truman as President.

How did she get out of high school?
