Leftists are doing everything in their power to stubborn the Constitution; to suggest that the age be altered so that the mentally retarded can run at any age is just more proof.

I'm going to ignore the premise solely because of how ludicrous it is, but I'm going to direct my derision at the bold-faced word above.

These smarmy liberal shits at outlets like Vox and Rolling Stone love their lexical masturbation to lord their intelligence over others (i.e. conservatives), and yet shit like this show just how ignorant they are. High school and college 101 thesaurus-hunting bullshit.

1.) That's not what a lacuna is. Asshole used the word egregiously wrong. A lacuna is a gap or a hole. The restriction on the age of the President in the Constitution is the opposite of a gap.

2.) The sentence structure means "lacuna" is being used as a plural. That's not the plural of the word; "lacunae" is what is needed.

I mean, if you want to sound smart, go right ahead, but it's shit like this that shows how bereft of any real learning you actually are, Yglesias. Your writing is still stuck pulling from the same bag of tricks as a high school sophomore.

There is some line in "A Few Good Men" about monumentally and galactically stupid. I thought it was a little harsh for intended character.

Seems like an understatement when applied to person inspiring this thread. I can't imagine how the person she beat feels - how could you live with yourself after being beaten at the polls by this heap of idiocy?

I’m so thankful we have this little slice of heaven here that we can actually call these idiots out for what they are and what they’re doing. This 29 year old says something that my 8 year old autistic son would bitch slap her for stupidity, and the leftwants her as president. It’s getting painful to be around. Thank you all, you guys and gals give me strength.

Again, rules are not intended for leftists. Rules are things to be gotten around or simply ignored, and rules are acknowledged only when those rules work to the advantage of leftists.

This idiot saying that he's found some latino he would like to be POTUS, and therefore, the age rule for becoming POTUS is "ridiculous" is illustrative of the behavior of these drolling morons. Not only is Ms. Macarena-Hey-Macarena absolutely unqualified to be POTUS, she shouldnt even be allowed to vote yet. The voting age needs to be raised to 30 for the same reason that you have to be 35 or older to be POTUS- a lack of maturity and judgement, atributable to youth and inexperience, and this is especially so these days, with people in their twenties hanging on at home, and with their stunted emotional growth with this 'safe space' and 'triggering' freaking nonsense. Millenials are without any doubt the least mature generation in all of human existence and are the least qualified generation to make any sort of important decisions. Not only are they overgrown children who know nothing about this world, they revel in their immaturity.

So, what's-his-name can have his little masturbatory fantasies about this dolt becoming POTUS, but that's all it is- his lttle wet dream- and that's all it's ever going to be.

The guy doesn't even know enough to be embarrassed by his own ignorant spew.

Oh I agree... they shouldn't vote. The only reason we even allow anyone under 21 to vote is that we allow them to serve in the military at 18. The argument that "someone should not have to die for his country if he can't even vote" is horseshit, but no one wanted to stand up to it so we lowered the voting age to 18.

As for Ms. Macarena-Hey-Macarena: she's the gift that just keeps on giving. Let her keep spouting her non-sense. She is exposing the stupidity of the left.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

To be fair, it isn’t hard to understand why a Leftist wants her to run now. By the time she is thirty five even the Leftist voters will have run out of patience with this imbecile.

I am willing to make a one time exception if the Dems agree to place her at the top of their ticket with no primary at all. Just anoint her as the candidate with no option to replace her before the election. Watching her dance in the glow of the 24 hour spotlight for 18 months would be pure bliss. Just think about the debates with her vs. Trump...

So you're subtly implying Matthew Yglesias is actually the lacuna? Well played, sir.

Vox is actually a click-bait site. Yglesias is known for writing unserious but provocative pieces just to get hits from the conservatives who come to say how dumb he is. It's probably a great economic strategy but but no one takes his writing seriously.

I remember when then Michigan Governor elect Jennifer Granholm was the new darling of the Democratic Party. They were crying because she was born in Canada, and thus could not be POTUS. Then she actually took over as Governor. She was/is dumb as a box of rocks, and suddenly the Dems dropped her like she was on fire. Big Grin I'm sure the same will happen with the Rep. from NY.
