No, not at all

When I buy stuff I feel happy for a little while. I spend a lot of money.

yeah. I'm happy.

I've got a couple of issues though that make life a little challenging; I've got a broken leg, which will mend but for about a month it hurt like 10,000 sons of bitches but I'm now upright and taking nourishment, Seems like I have a little glitch that every once in a while my heart rate soars, all the 0.2 gets used up in about eight seconds, my squash goes without oxygen, and I tip over like a little teapot. Of course I can't drive, that might be awkward at some point so when I can actually ambulate without going ow ow ow I have to arrange with my spouse and she's busy that month.

She thinks now is a good time to disarm too. I told here I don't have enough fire power to matter, but I don't think she believed me.
It was a good discussion though; the only thing I kept off the inventory were my competition pistols and the Colts that might be worth a lot some day, and the AR's cuz, you know, ARs and maybe a couple others. There might be one or two others I missed, I dunno.

Beside that, I got to ride in an ambulance with the siren on, that was cool and the boss was named Heather and I think she liked me.

So all in all, life's pretty good. I've got two grand-boys near by that think I'm cool but they can't drive either; 7 and 5, oh well.

I'm comfortably retired. My kids are doing well. I bought the big toys I've wanted. It feels like I won at life. Smile

I’m dating a girl 10 years younger than me that is literally the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m healthy. My kids are healthy. My mom is hanging in there. Wouldn’t mind a career change but overall pretty darn happy.

Well, I'm happier today than yesterday. I'm not at work, so that's a plus (unfortunately it's just to burn comp time since I found out yesterday I'm going to have to cover Christmas and Christmas Eve for the other day shifter who conveniently timed a surgery to avoid working any of the holidays this year Mad). But this morning I'm chilling by the fire with the dog...my winter happy place!

Also convinced my wife to test the boob/happiness theory, and I can confirm that it does work Big Grin.

I’m warm. I’m well-fed. I like my job, and my crew, and my leaders. I have a smart, beautiful, go-getter mate.
I’m blessed. I’m happy.

(No boobs seen today, though….) Wink

I wouldn’t say happy but I think I’m lucky to have what I do and am pleased to be able to get back to things I think I enjoy after losing two sorely missed family members this summer.

All things considered, yes, I am happy.

Just picked up the Christmas present my wife ordered for me. CZ Custom Shadow 2 Single Action. She hasn't wrapped it but I can't shoot it until after Christmas. But I'm good with that. I just ordered her the iPad she's been asking for. It gets here tomorrow and she won't be able to get it set up until after Christmas.

"Happy" isn't really in a guy's thought process, it could happen or not but that isn't in our direct orbit.

I live alone, and at my age(old), I can say that I am content. I am fairly healthy, financially comfortable, and look forward to each new day. Things could be so much worse, I won't complain.

I’m happy. In early sixties, married over 30 years. I feel my life to date has been good. I have 2 productive grown daughters one of whom is a CPD officer. I have had a few life threatening incidents. My wife thinks I’ve used 4 of my 9 lives. Life isn’t perfect but I’m happy every morning I wake up.
