Yeah, no.

I’m happy. Being happy is completely on my orbit.

I was unhappy. Then I divorced the reason for it.

Now I am happy about 95% of the time...

And I see boobs frequently so that is a plus.

I’m doing pretty good. Sometimes I’m overjoyed, sometimes just cruising along but overall, yes.
Happy.

Yes, I am happy.

Early 60's, relatively good health, married for 34 years to the love of my life, two grown successful children, a yellow Lab named Pearl...............oh yeah and a P-220.

I am the first to recognize that too often, I take for granted all I have. Threads like this cause me to look closer.

As reminded in another thread. I wake up every day in the greatest country on Planet Earth!

Am I happy? Hell Yes!!! I wake up every morning, look around and see all of the wonderful things God has made and thank him for giving one more day with " The Love Of My Life". We've been married for 55 years, got a great life!! Our health is not too bad.... What is there not to be happy about.

I'm retired and content, satisfied and secure; my wife of almost 50 years and I are fairly healthy - so yes, I guess I'm pretty happy.
Especially when family (kids & grandkids) are around.

My oldest daughter flew in last night (last saw her in October). She wants to learn how to make sausage so we are making 50 lbs of hot Italian venison sausage tomorrow.

She loves to cook and try new things (she has a PHD in Food Science)

My two daughters, wife, and I are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate my recent 63rd birthday.

I am 21 months post-chemo cancer free, no AFib since cryo ablation 26 months ago, spending a long weekend with two of my adult children (wish all three club be here), wonderful wife of 39 years, yes, I am happy.

Yes. Career opportunities have been tumultuous for the last 5-6 years which isn’t fun, but happiness is a choice. You count your blessings or you wallow in misery.

I have an amazing wife (HS sweetheart) of 31 years who is the coolest and sanest woman I have ever met. I hit the lottery with her, and she put up with a lot more of my crap than she deserved. I have two amazing adult children making their way through this world, and all four of our parents still alive. We have had tough times together and have endured many challenges and for certain have had periods where we were not happy. Most unhappy people cling to excuses and I tend to avoid those people like the plague. Finding happiness is genetically wired into my being and I try every day to enjoy this human experience. After all, none of us get out of this game alive!

Happiness is a choice. Gratitude helps.

I need to make better choices. I am incredibly blessed. I should be more consistently happy.

With a moments thought, it is clear that one can choose to celebrate the many blessings one enjoys or one can choose to lament the small handful of things that aren't perfect in one's life.

Thanks for the reminder that I need to consciously choose more wisely more often.

Change the 55 years to 47, and your description fits me pretty well.
