some guys have retirement clocks on their desks. I have this webpage open on my desktop that counts down until noon on January 20. I don't think I have looked forward to a date like this in a long while.

Yes, but exciting and full of promise as well!

I see a lot of positives in the delay to the inauguration. Trump has 6 weeks or so to get his guns leveled, the ships out of the harbor and the layabouts identified. Nominations are made, problems are identified, weak hands are discovered, and he hasn't used up a single day of his presidency. All of that and he isn't delayed with kissing babies, going to the mayor's daughter's birthday party, no responsibilities of state, just action Jackson.

I'm getting tired of waiting. Can we do something to speed this up?

I remember the dread I felt four years ago as I began to see the consequences forming of the Biden admin. By now I could see that in spite of the claims of election fraud and promises to show proof positive, nothing was going to save us from the Left.

Today I feel the opposite. I’ve felt a peaceful assurance since last year that gradually intensified as we approached the election. Since the results were broadcast, I’ve been full of hope and gratitude. That gratitude, in considerable proportion, is for this website and the sanctuary it provides.

Donald Trump will be inaugurated in a few days absent tragedy. Corrections will begin officially. Consider the corrections made at the notion of another Trump administration. It’s instructive as to the power of influence and explains things that happened in anticipation of an Obama administration and the disastrous Biden admin.

Just a few more days ladies and gentlemen.

I feel like I did when I was a little boy waiting for Christmas!! Some of the riff-raff have already resigned, and more are ready to do so. I hope Trump gets to fire at least a few just because.

Congrats! I 'may' be getting a ticket to the Presidential Inauguration as well. Cool

You might need to have plans for alternate headgear that day though...I'm still waiting for the Gold Dark MAGA hat I ordered the week prior to the election! I may be forced to wear my Red MAGA Hat, which I had personally signed by DTJ back in Oct 2023 when he was here to register for the NH Presidential Primary in Concord, NH. Wink

ETA - Just got an email from the Inaugural Committee...Looks like I'm in! Smile
AND, just two hours later I got another email w/ a shipping confirmation & Tracking# for my Gold Dark MAGA Hat...This must be my Lucky Day! Razz

Two of my best friends (they are husband and wife) are going to the inauguration. They will send me photos and I'll share them here. Is anyone else here getting as amped up as I am for this? I feel as if a weight is lifting. I know everything will not be solved but it sure feels good to know efforts will be made to go in the right direction and cut some of the voluminous
crap(being very diplomatic here).

I was able to get a ticket to the Inauguration as well from my niece who works for some member of Congress or some group there.

We will be in West Standing:

For anyone who has ever been to an event like this, do you know if they are OK with bringing chemical hand warmers? It’s going to be absolutely frigid that day. Not sure how early I should plan to get there either? My niece lives in Arlington and I’m supposed to meet her at her apartment and then take the Metro to the event.

My drive is about 3.5 hours down from PA

I’m thinking I should leave like 5 am?

PASig, I spoke to Bill Hemmer and he suggested handwarmers so I would assume they are fine. He stressed dressing very warm. We are going to take the train down from NYC on the 19th so we can be up early on the 20th. We were told to be on line at 8am

I just posted in the Ukraine thread about Biden giving a half a billion dollars to Ukraine. The next nine days cannot pass by fast enough for me. Thanks for this thread Para, it is a daily reminder of a very bright horizon.
