Today, for no reason at all, I’m sitting on a screeed in porch in a VRBO in Bradenton FL, enjoying a cocktail with my lovely wife, and I thought, ‘How many days have I been retired?’
A little googling and presto: 2,627 days.

Please share your days of retirement if you wish.

Best regards,
Mark in Michigan

0.

I got eight more years until I can retire.

Nine years if my agency back dates credit into a different retirement system. Long story of why, but I would have to do one extra year, but it would be worth it.

I'm 744 days out, that's when I turn 70.

Promised my wife I will cut back to 40 hours a week then. And it won't have anything to do with appliances.

Medically retired in mid 2017.
But I’ve been a chauffeur for my kid,
Lunch maker,
Plumber,
Electrician,
Painter,
Handy man.
All the things for Mrs. Mike and The Tomminator

It’s been a blessing. I should be dead. But I can drive and converse with my pocket friends and enjoy life and many other things.

I still miss it thought-it was the greatest show on earth.

I'll be vested in my pension in August, but I've still got at least 16 years to go before I can draw, and probably more like 22 until I can fully retire. And that's if they don't up the Medicare eligibility age and social security doesn't dry up before I get there.

In fact, I've spent the last hour or so researching robot lawnmowers so I can spend more time playing.
