My wife always tells me I don’t carry enough. And no. It’s not an accusation I’m a cheapskate. “Crisis is the rallying cry of the tyrant.” – James Madison "Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others." - Robert Louis Stevenson

I carry a varying amount. I add to my billfold in $100 incremants. Usually when it gets down to about $50, I add in another $100. But then consider I don't have/carry a credit card. I hate them. But if I'm going out and we are considering buying something, I add in that amount. If its going to cost too much, we just use my wife's card. Unhappy ammo seeker

I usually only carry enough for a days incidentals. Example, $10 for just enough gas to for a day or so. $10 for a cheap lunch or snacks. If I were to get robbed, the robber might feel sorry for me and give me some, lol. I mentioned being robbed, the most I'd lose is the $20. --Tom The right of self preservation, in turn, was understood as the right to defend oneself against attacks by lawless individuals, or, if absolutely necessary, to resist and throw off a tyrannical government.

Around $20. I use debit or credit cards almost exclusively, but it's better to have it and not need it than the reverse.

Exactly zero cash in my wallet, but I do keep a Zip-lock bag with about $15.00 in change in my glovebox. If I need paper money for someplace, I'll rob my gun cash stash in the safe. “Leave the Artillerymen alone, they are an obstinate lot. . .” – Napoleon Bonaparte http://poundsstudio.com/
