This commie bitch is the reason Orange County went blue in 2018, every U.S. Congressional house seat went Democrat for the first time ever. In 2014, she authored a bill (Moonbeam signed) to basically allow "ballot harvesting" to be legal in CA, changing what used to be; only adult household members of one's family to drop off a ballot at a poll station is now any human being, even paid political campaign workers, are allowed to drop off ballots. The chairman of OC's Republican Party claimed ballot dropoffs increased by hundreds of thousands in the 2018 election. And now the Democrat Party has gotten a huge whiff of this scam, and the reason why nationally, they are pushing for mail-in ballots. They are trying to emulate CA's ballot harvesting scam for the upcoming Presidential election. The disagreement with Alameda is a catalyst, not the reason, for the move. If it made good business sense to manufacture vehicles in Fremont, GM/Toyota would still be there. The reason Tesla got the plant for such a bargain is because you can’t make affordable vehicles in the California regulatory/cost-of-living environment. This pandemic has only accelerated the inevitable —the move to a cheaper tax environment. I don’t think Elon is bluffing, except maybe on the “immediately” part.
