Memorial Day at Yankee Stadium

My daughter, who is a Musician Third Class in the Navy, had the honor of singing the National Anthem on Memorial Day at Yankee Stadium. We were able to make it up for the weekend. She also got to perform in Times Square. It was a truly once in a lifetime experience for her. As a retired Navy Senior Chief myself, it's especially awesome.

Wow, totally a moment to be proud. That was a beautiful rendition and I loved the salute. You did a fine job raising her.

What a proud moment that must have been for you.

That's how the Anthem is supposed to be sung.

WOW!

She can pronounce "perilous" while singing which very few can do, and she has plenty of power and range, so she didn't strain at all on the high notes.

Beautifully done, and thanks for sharing.
