Many years ago I was sitting outside a coffee shop in a very affluent city. Affixed to the BMW parked next to me were plates that read:

WAS-HIS

That must have been a doozy of a divorce.

This one showed up in the surfing recently.
I'm a little surprised it made it through the censors.

God bless America.

I'd post mine, but the state would revoke it.

My daughter's idea. I'm amazed at the reactions it generates. I've been waved down to stop several times so people could get a picture with it.

Not mine and I’m not sure how they got it past DMV: FXGIVNO. By using the O instead of a zero I’m guessing is why it didn’t flag.

I have "3 PT LNDG".

A guy I work with has "SIG GUY". His was the first plate I notice 2 years ago as I was entering the building for my final interview. Made me feel better about accepting a job there.

Maine DMV has been letting - shall we say, edgey ones - through for years but have heard they've started to crack down and even revoking.

Two come to mind, both Virginia plates.

Following a car on I-95 one day with a plate reading DATZBS
and years ago a Corvair parked on the side of the street, whose plate read FNADER.

Nevada recently recalled this one: GOBK2CA

Apparently the perpetually offended are running the asylum!

The owner of the plate has a hearing on the matter, but I suspect it won't go his way. Friggin' pussies have no sense of humor.

Early 80's when I was young and hip...
Popularized by David Letterman.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

"The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth."
