We've thought about it, but the cost for custom plates in TX is pretty high, on top of the normal registration. $195/1yr, $445/3yrs or $495/5yrs

My wife's Expedition is nicknamed Minibus, so we've thought about variation of that for hers.

My 1985 442 has A20 JOCK as the plate. It was my dads car and his plate so I’ve kept it, and will, for as long as I have the car.

My plate is NATWWAL

Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost

I liked the sentiment before I knew it was from the Fellowship of the Ring. So while I enjoyed the books and movies, the plate reflects my love of exploring and wandering.

Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

The fun Skyhawk. Never had the pleasure, but always wanted to.

Had TD CFI for years, but that was a while ago.

Nice Bald 1 Smile

When I needed to come up with a screen name to join this forum I thought why not use the plate on my Ducati? It's transferred to various bikes over the years currently on my T700.

For some reason in 2008 some people didn't laugh at the layered meanings.....

Unfortunately no pics from the back of this car, but the tag for all our years in TN was BITTEN

Saw a lot of people puzzled then chuckling in the mirror on that. That little girl is 30 now. Yikes.

My VW TDI had a custom plate that read: "OIL MTR".

Yes, it was a Diesel.

Back in the day I had a plate that read L.A.GUNS (I put the dots on there myself). Liked their music at the time.

Now my current plate is simply 8275. 8275CC wasn't available, but the music is still the same. Wink
