Yes they are stupid high priced, it's more of a museum/time capsule of guns, when the owner sells or passes on it's going to be an interesting conversion from collector pawn to sales pawn... It's still a hell of a half day browsing..

I never got any crazy pawn shop deals like I’ve seen online. Until… I get a like new P250C-22 for $200 OTD. Gunbroker still has some deals if you wait. Factory CZ75B Kadet 2 pistol with everything for $740 This Beretta 948 was missing its safety. I think it happened early in its life because the springs are super tight compared to my other earlier 948. A safety for ~$25 and I was less than $300 in. A C&R and Gunbroker can still be fun. The magazines are always where the project gets pricey.

Several years ago, I picked up an SKS with scope for $350 plus tax/background check. Just last year, I picked up my first P365 for $372 out the door. It had the case, but only 1 mag. I kicked myself for passing on a Kahr PM40 for $160. There’s a large nationwide chain, and the closer their items get to 6 months, the better the deal gets. I’ve gotten to know one of the managers, and he calls me with deals he thinks I might be interested in. That’s how I got my P220.
