Did you turn up the volume on your gadget? If not: Think of the AUX input as headphones- lower the sound on the radio, raise it on the gadget, then raise on radio to a comfortable level. Works in my 1999 Mack ;P Clarior Hinc Honos Scout leader, Cheer Dad, Dance Dad | |||

Note for the record that the car's radio does not turn on when the aux button is pressed. I've connected my iPhone to it and had an app open and playing. Pressing the Aux button on radio when off it remains off. If I turn the radio on and press the aux button nothing changes.
