Bachman Turner Overdrive got me in a bunch of trouble in high school. Saved my money and bought myself a 1969 911s and installed a Muntz 8-track player in it. I just dated myself. Too many speeding tickets in it forced me to sell it Frown

Any other bands that are worth a watch?

AC/DC is always a crowd pleaser. This song could get me speeding tickets. Great pump up music.

I bought a Dodge Challenger with a 340 my Senior year. I got 13 speeding tickets before they pulled my license. BEST summer ever!!!

I had what were called MindBlower speakers in it, they were self-amplified,, and were loud as SHIT!! Frankenstein by Edgar Winter was blasting quite often, as was Best of My Love by the Eagles.

Wish I could live the Summer of 75 all over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like a lot of different brands, and then there are music/songs from others that I might not like the group that much or even that type of music in general but for some reason I dig that particular song/tune.

I like hard rock/hair bands from the 80's. 50's,60's and 70's rock. Soft rock, country, Bluegrass, older R&B from the 60s 70s .Alternative, indie and grunge . Some pop and there are even a few rap songs I dig.

I keep finding bands and songs that I never knew about before.

Well Mr Jones, I never paid much attention to AC/DC but I think I'll listen to a bit now. Thanks.

It's an ever evolving list. I really liked Rammstein's "Du Hast" back in '98, but it wasn't until a couple months ago that I explored the rest of their catalog. Turns out, I've been missing out...

Too many to mention, but when Foghat was mentioned it hit a nerve. Once a night we would play Slow Ride full blast and hit a minimum of 100mph when it was ending, it was a game to us.

Everytime we get in my truck, my seven year old grandson asks to hear Foghat. One of my all-time favorite bands.
