In Eaglville there is a tractor dealer with a lot full of used tractors, been there for years.
Don’t know anything about them but there is about 50 plus tractors all sizes.

I have added some accessories, extra lights, skid plates, front bucket tooth bar and others.
I'm not certain about the unit you are looking at, but some of the earlier BX models have a "PLASTIC" rear fender pan.
That's the big Orange part that covers the rear tires. If the unit you are looking at has the plastic fender pan, just be advised they ALWAYS break and crack.
It can be replaced with newer model steel fender pan, but the change-over to steel isn't cheap.

Plan on adding a biocide to your diesel fuel, so mold growth in the fuel tank is prevented. (debris {mold} in the diesel fuel will clog diesel fuel filters)
The mold grows in/on the condensate water in the fuel tank, so keep the tank full and use a biocide additive.
If you live where cold weather happens, also plan on adding a diesel fuel anti-gel additive in addition to the biocide.

Good luck with your purchase! BX models are not "big" tractors, but they always beat a pick and shovel.
If you are planning on a lot of dirt digging be advised that a backhoe should not be added to a BX that did not come with a backhoe from the factory.
BX models are not heavy duty enough for a 3 point hitch aftermarket backhoe and adding a 3 point hitch style backhoe will cause significant damage to the tractor.
(factory BX backhoe is a frame mount style)

I own the same in the 2013 model, and I have to be honest - I've never added a thing to the fuel except more fuel, kept the tank anywhere between E and F for long periods of time, and keep it stored outside under a lean-to regardless if it's 100F or -20F. The only time I had any issue with it starting or running is when the battery died on me once in the winter a few years back.

Not recommending anyone do one thing or the other, just my experience.

Yes indeed. The ground on my property is comprised mostly of rocks. It would be impossible to do any of the work I've done with my Kubota by hand. I tell folks that while it's not a big tractor, it'll do everything a big one will...it just takes longer.

I've never had any issues with my BX25 with mold in the fuel, or not starting in the winter either.
But after joining the Orange Tractor Talk Forum, I did see many posts from Members that did have problems with fuel system mold growth and fuel gelling in winter.

If you get fuel system mold, you'll be tearing the tractor apart and steam cleaning or pressure washing the inside of the fuel tank, and changing fuel filters and pickup screen. Not a fun job!
And fuel gelling in winter. I see you are in Montana. They likely blend winter diesel fuel in your location.

Where people get in trouble is where they have summer blended fuel, and then it gets real cold.
Then the tractor is inoperative and you're wrenching on it out in the driveway at -20 F when you need it running.
Likely in Montana, you get winter blended diesel at the pump year round!
A few ounces of biocide, and a few ounces of anti-gel additive make all those unpleasant things just not happen.

We aren't talking about a 150 gallon diesel fuel tank on a 375hp tractor here, it's a six gallon diesel tank in the BX tractor, and a spare five gallon can.
A bottle of biocide and a bottle of anti-gel lasts for years.
Why tempt fate?

I put a Harley Davidson battery tender on my Kubota. I hard wired a battery tender pigtail on the battery terminals, and made a small notch in the screen below the steering wheel for the pigtail exit.
When the Kubota is not in use, it's connected to the battery tender in the barn.
Every piece of equipment here has a battery tender on it, except automobiles and trucks that get driven frequently.
Two John Deere tractors.
One Kubota tractor.
One Honda ATV.
One Honda SxS.
One Harley Davidson motorcycle.
I can get 10+ years use out of a battery if it's kept on a battery tender when it isn't being operated.

The green LED lights on the battery tenders also serve as "night lights" so you can see enough inside the barn at night to get the overhead lights turned on without running into something.

I use sta-bil in my gas equipment, also a battery tender on my mower and a
seldom used car.

New small diesel equipment still has no emission stuff crap on it. I believe the break point is 26hp.
If you can swing it financially, and the used model doesn't happen, Kubota usually has 0% financing on BX models.
Get the TLB tractor, Model 23S.

The tractor grew a bit, gained 2 HP, sprouted a backhoe and changed color.

So I went to look at new a Kubota... there weren't none, Dealer said he had an entire tractor trailer full of just the BX23S ordered with no expected date. Said it might be over winter.

So I drove by the JD place on the way home... none on the lot there either, stopped in anyway just to shoot the breeze.

Had one of exactly what I wanted in the showroom fresh out of the shop for dealer prep. 0.4hr on the meter. 1025R Being delivered this afternoon.

Look at it this way, it is cheaper than an ER stay for heart/back/ issues.

Exact same tractor and setup I have been looking at ... problem is one salesman was a jerk to talk to and another at a different dealership never got back to me. Then thought of looking at Kubota and Mahindra, but haven't yet.

A couple thoughts.

Huston at TRI-Green Equip in Murfreesboro TN was an absolute pleasure to deal with, no pressure and he knew the machine inside and out.

The guy with the used one marked it sold the next day after I asked for the serial number... Maybe it was sold. Don't know dont care. He sent me his phone number last night finally but didn't answer the two times I called him today.

When the truck pulled in with the tractor my wife said "I thought you bought a tractor... thats a TOY!" Well, she was raised on a dairy farm after all, they had a couple big IH tractors.

That is sweet. Congrats. I bought a used Kubota L5030 50hp. I want a back hoe for it. But that seems not likely as finding just the Back hoe for one seems impossible. I should of bought a similar model with a backhoe. Crapola!
