FL makes it easy, mail, walk-in or online, with the Hurricane issues, figured might was well do the e-renewal.

You need a current photo so off to Staples for a Passport photo, you can take your own too probably reject mine for being too ugly LOL

Painless, simple, a few screens of questions, some data from the mailed to me form, input the banking payment info, upload the photo and voila

8 to 10 weeks to get the new one back, the current is good until December.

Forgot to add, $45

Finally remembered to update mine (and my DL) after we moved. Both done online.
$11 for the DL address update & something like $26 for the LTC.

Edit: Did both renewals last week. New DL was in my mailbox today. Assuming LTC shouldn't be far behind it.

Yes, Florida's permit system is painless. I went in person the middle of September and had my permit in hand 11 days later Cool

Plus we don’t have to submit a photo they just use your current drivers license photo that is in their system.

Reminds me I need to get mine here in NH renewed. Even with constitutional carry you need the piece of paper for reciprocity.

5 years for a total of $10. No prints, no picture, no school. Done on the town level and has always been less than a week turnaround.

Yeah, but I kept my old one that does. Smile

Wonder if we'll get a prorated refund when DeSantis signs a Constitutional Carry law next year?

Even better would be if you got permit-less carry. DeSantis seems like the kind of guy who would sign such a bill if it got to him. That said, I still plan to maintain mine as I travel to neighboring states. (VA is ~30 miles north or northeast, NC 30 miles south.)

I renewed here in Michigan two weeks ago. Did it online and got new permit in the mail in about a week. That is very fast for government here in Michigan. You can't get your DL renewed that quickly.

My best is 36 hours. Do they even check your references anymore? We have a new chief (promoted from within which is good) and adm. asst so I'm allowing a little more time.

I think there's a fixed number of renewals, then it forces you to trek to the DMV for a new photo. I had to on my last renewal.

Missouri has 3 options:

Constitutional carry. No permit needed at all.

Lifetime/extendes permit. Good for 10 years, 25 years, or lifetime.

Standard permit. Good for 5 years. I swing by the Sheriff's office, fill out a background check authorization, stand there for 5 minutes, and walk out with my renewed permit. Sometimes they even give us gifts for being good citizens. I got coffee cups one year.

Just renewed my Utah permit.

Done totally on the net, answer a few questions, submit a photo that you took with your own cell phone, pay $25.00

What could be easier.

Not yet, but this next renewal will be under a new Sheriff. Maybe he'll up his gift game to outdo the last guy.

As already mentioned, Texas is now a constitutional carry state. A lot of folks are just letting theirs expire, but I renewed and plan to keep it going as long as things remain the same. Easier time making a gun purchase and out of state reciprocity make it worth the few bucks to me. Easy peasy on line with no picture needed as they use your DL picture.

Agreed, I'll keep renewing mine for out of state travel.

Will be interesting to see if Constitutional carry has any effect on LTC classes/costs.
