What is the soup du jour?
| Got one last night. Exactly as I remember. That's a good thing. Nothing new. Thanks for the heads up. |

| Mrs. V-Tail brought some home this afternoon. Even better than I remembered. Tried the hot mustard per recommendations in this thread; very good. Mine was ordered with extra onion, extra pickle. I got the extra onion, but there was no pickle at all. Like Joe Pesci said ...

| Yup, no thanks. I had it once way back in the day and it was full of disgusting fat and processed bullshit. What I miss is that chicken Parm sandwich Burger King did back in the day. If y’all remember that it was on like a long hoagie roll. |

Get my pies outta the oven!

| Had one today, been a few years since the last one. It was…not good Noticeably thinner and drier than anything I remember. Really sad looking, they used to douse it with BBQ sauce too and this had barely a little drizzle. The bun didn’t even fill the container and was also very thin. And almost $10 for that and a medium fries and drink. Just more enshittification of another classic. I won’t get another.

Probably varies with the person who assembles it. Mine was really wet, a lot of sauce. In fact, I would have been OK with about half the amount of sauce that they put on it. I ordered it with extra onion and extra pickle. When I opened it at home, I found plenty of onion and zero pickle. Like Joe Pesci said, ...

| I have always loved a good McRib sammie from as far back as I can remember and that's been 56 years. Question is " When is McDonald's going to start issuing you a sacrificial bib/shirt to wear while eating?" You know..a shirt / coverall you could shed after eating it and not have to worry about the subsequent mess / experience that occurs. Just a thought! |

My brother tells me that there’s an active lawsuit following the analysis showing that there’s no rib meat in a McRib. McDonald’s has beaucoup bucks to fight the suit, but satisfactory taste or not, shouldn’t a “McRib” be something more than pork in somewhat of a rib shape? I don’t care for them myself, but my dad sure liked them.

Savor the limelight
| quote: The McRib starts with seasoned boneless pork dipped in a tangy BBQ sauce, topped with slivered onions and tangy pickles, all served on a toasted homestyle bun. When everything combines you have BBQ pork sandwich perfection. But its availability is limited—stay tuned at your local McDonald’s for when the McRib is available near you.
That's McDonalds description and that's what you get. No ribs in their description, no ribs in their sandwich. Pro tip: McRib Sauce is not made from ribs, hamburgers are not made from ham, hotdogs not made with dog meat, and french fries are not French. Besides, if they put ribs in the sandwich some nitwit would sue them for broken teeth. |
