Everyone with sense knows it is not sunshine that is the problem, it is moonlight.

Sure, there have been some weather manipulation programs. But the entire thing about contrails being chemtrails, and for the purpose of affecting humans, that's top tier bs. I see people all the time posting photos of normal jet contrails and the normal ways they can appear, way up high, and claim that these are nefarious government activities, using unsuspecting commercial airliners even.

I hope legitimate discussions about geo engineering won't be marginalized by the chemtrail nuttery.

I wouldn't worry about dimming the Sun. At the rate people are dimming their IQs, they'll probably forget what the Sun is and how it influences climate long before someone funds that science project!

Why is nobody decrying the global stupidity crisis?

Now there's a cause that needs massive funding! Just give me the funds and I will make sure they get to the right people.(*)

All those amazing northern lights we've been having for the recent few years? Those are due to the earth's dramatically weakening magnetic field. Very moderate solar activity is having a significant effect on our planet.

The reason is the ongoing polar shift in the magnetic field. N swaps with S, and part of that process is the weakening of the field before the swap. The indications are that it has been in process for a while, so this isn't a prediction based on just looking at tree rings or something. And, the solar activity is on a cycle as is the galactic magnetic field. There's a lot of evidence that when these line up it is really disruptive, and it looks to be happening.

IF that is true, global warming won't be our worry. If it isn't true, life will be better with a little bit of warming.

And, they've been predicting that for as long as I've been alive. You have to understand what they are doing. They have comstructed a narrative that no matter what happens the problem remains. Warmer equals problem. Colder equal problem. It's a fund raising tool.

Less sunlight means less food production. It does not matter if it’s only a little or a lot. Any reduction of food production will spark panic globally.

The greater threat is glaciation. If these idiots do have any effect on the environment, it will likely be negative.

Hmm, a company wishing to get in on the climate change grift. Al Gore made hundreds of millions why not these guys? Hey, let's make some big bucks by hoodwinking stupid investors in giving us money to spray the air with sand.
quote:
A company that aims to make billions of dollars by cooling the Earth has lifted the veil of secrecy that until now has hidden its plans for preventing sunlight from overheating the planet.

It hinges on aerosol particles that are 125 times smaller than the tiniest grains of sand.

Stardust Solutions has raised $75 million since 2023 from investors who are betting that global warming could get so out of control that governments might decide to pay the Israeli-U.S. startup to spray millions of tons of sunlight-reflecting aerosols into the stratosphere. Its plans were so guarded that it required scientists to sign nondisclosure agreements before they could study its potentially planet-altering technologies.

On Thursday, the company revealed the makeup of its proprietary particles. They are made of what's known as amorphous silica

"Geoengineering is unlike other responses to climate change because, while it can theoretically reduce warming, it does not address the root cause: the burning of fossil fuels. "

Provably false.

As TSE posted above, the greater threat is glaciation. The AMOC is slowing considerably. Another factor getting more space in science journals is the dramatic weakening and shifting of the earth's magnetic field, which may well swap north for south within 10-15 years. Solar activity is already having a more dramatic effect on our atmosphere due to the weakening, which has been going on for over a century.

Human caused CO2 may have some minor influence on the climate, but nowhere near to being the primary factor.
