Basically now when you get arrested, they let you go and trust you'll come back for your court appearance, honest trustworthy person that you are. If not, the cops with come try to find you. (ya know, cuz they got nothing else to do)

"A serial robber who allegedly knocked over four banks in less than two weeks was released without bail on grand larceny charges Thursday — and is now suspected of robbing a fifth bank on Friday, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

“I can’t believe they let me out,” sources said he boasted as he retrieved his vouchered property at One Police Plaza. “What were they thinking?”

This needs to be rammed down Cuomo's throat.

Accused random attacker arrested hours after release under bail reform

Updated 6 minutes ago
GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Hours after being released without bail under New York's new bail reform law, a homeless man with a history of unprovoked attacks was arrested by police again.

Eugene Webb, 26, was arrested in front of a Chase Bank on W 4th Street in Greenwich Village for aggressively panhandling.

Officials said when police approached him around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Webb tried to run. After a brief pursuit he surrendered at W 3rd Street and 6th Aveue.

Police searched him and found a glass pipe containing the drug K2.

Webb is charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, criminal possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental administration

He was awaiting arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Webb is accused in several random attacks in Manhattan, including one earlier in the week in which he repeatedly punched the 23-year-old woman after she exited the one train station at West Houston and Varick Street in Greenwich Village.

He was freed with supervised release under New York's new bail reform guidelines.

Webb has at least five prior arrests, including hitting a 35-year-old woman in the face with a closed fist on September 3, 2019, and grabbing a 55-year-old woman's backside, exposing himself and making a lewd gesture in October of 2017.

I’ve been reading Leadership by Rudy Giuliani. It blows my mind that the New York that he cleaned up and turned around, is going back to the shithole it was.

Maybe if a few of the liberals who write these laws came out from their guarded/gated mansions and become victims themselves...

Douglas Co. NE is implementing this cluster flop. They are begging the NE legislative members to do this nightmare statewide.

Never saw this coming did they.... f’ing libs. Anyone w/half a brain could guess what would happen w/ no cash bail. Won’t ever admit they were ever wrong. They would cut off their own nose to spite their face!!!

Roll Eyes There is no way there can ever be enough "people power" to implement this and make it stick.

I wonder how many decent people are left, if you vote Democrat I wouldn't consider you a decent person because if your not a part of the solution you're part of the problem.

Thank you. If I didn't have a great business I would have left long ago. It's amazing what you can put up with when you have a family to take care of. There are a lot of good, conservative minded people here but we are overwhelmed by the irrationality and unrealistic beliefs of the left. Even some of our Republican elected pols are Dems in disguise(RINOs). I think I come to this site daily more to get pulled back to sanity or for confirmation then any other reason. Oh and I like guns too.

All this and people still insist on voting for democrats! Personally, I have no sympathy for anyone that votes for democrats and then falls into some type of victimhood because of democrat policies, practices, laws or procedures. They got exactly what they voted for, so I do not give a rats ass... I am befuddled how anyone can vote for any democrat anywhere! If any of you closet democrats are out there and can explain, please feel free to do so in educating us what the democrat party is actually offering the American people?
