2003-2006, the JFK was my 4th and last ship and only aircraft carrier I served aboard. The other three ships were a cruiser, destroyer and frigate. Stationed in Norfolk, Everett and Pascagoula.

2004 JFK deployment was my last deployment. It was also the last deployment for the USS John F Kennedy as it turned out. Although we were able to complete the mission, serious catapult problems developed and I'm sure it impacted the decommissioning decision.

My dad was on the air side of the Navy too. He was an AD. In fact, I was born into the Navy LOL when my dad was stationed at Moffett Field and I was born at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in 1953.
