We'll be watching Netflix. Lately each evening we'll watch a couple episodes of Monty Python & finish up with a couple episodes whatever our latest favorite crime/drama happens to be.

If it wasn't for Netflix & Amazon Prime, I'd read a lot more books.

I'm going to clean my pistols and binge watch Punisher Season 2. Just finished the Jack Ryan series.

I’ll be doing an oil change and changing rear shocks. This will be the first super bowl I’ve missed in years. The NFL doesn’t appeal to me anymore.

Whatever. Enjoy the game.

I’ve been invited to a couple of SB parties. I’ve made my excuses for not attending. I find it pretty disappointing that most of the people I know will support this shit. I made the mistake of going grocery shopping this morning. It was the typical scene when there’s going to be a snowstorm that’ll drop a good 2 inches; it was bedlam. It’s sad, really.

I’m going to try and get to the indoor range tonight.

I have to inventory my paper clips.

The last Super Bowl I watched was probably fifteen years ago. I dozed off and missed most of it.

I know Throwing Eggball fans find this hard to believe, but some people actually aren't all that enamoured of watching sports. Particularly "sports" that consist mostly of people planning a play, setting up for a play, recovering from a play, being penalized for a play, commentators talking about them setting up for a play, recovering from..., etc., and commercial breaks.

(I've probably related these stories here before...)

There was n Throwing Eggball game on TV one afternoon, sound muted, while we waited for the ran-past-the-time-slot-again "game" to end. Looked up to see my furriner wife actually watching it. "What's this?" I thought. So I watched her watching it. Finally she looks over to me and asks "Do they actually ever play?" "Sure they do. Just watch," I replied. She went back to watching. Eventually the ball was hiked and play commenced. Then stopped. "There!," I said. "That's it?" she asked. "That's it," I replied.

She just shook her head and went back to doing whatever she was doing on her tablet or whatever.

Another time, not having grasped the implications of that conversation, again waiting for yet another ran-past-the-time-slot Throwing Eggball "game" to end, I noted "five minutes on the clock." "So it'll be over in five minutes?" she asked. "No," I replied, "more like twenty." She looked at me questioningly. I reminded her of the previous conversation and said "Watch the clock." "Oh..."

And Throwing Eggball fans claim baseball is boring?

Throwing Eggball does have cheerleaders, though. There's that. Wait: Does it still have cheerleaders, or have they been banned as a symbol of toxic masculinity or male privilege or objectifying women or something?

The last two weeks I worked my usual 110+hours, so today I am bored and pacing.

I saw a new documentary about WW2 on Netflix, and I will catch up on the sitcoms from last week or so on Hulu.

I will also re-arrange my P226 setup since I received the new magazines from a forum member.

There are also two LE applications on my desk that need completed and I want to kill this evening looking for a 5.45x39mm set up.

In all reality, just killing a boring Sunday during the winter months. It really doesnt matter that football is on or not. I get the winter blues/cabin fever bad.

Now Baseball is different.
I am looking forward to seeing if the Orioles can do any better this year.

I think you may have underestimated some here, I certainly won't be among those, this season or any future seasons as of now.

I suspect that you are quite incorrect!! I haven't
watched a Superbowl......or any football game, for at least 3 decades, perhaps longer. I have no interest in "stick and ball" sports.

There's certainly very little "foot" in N. American "football." Kick-offs and kicking for a field goal--neither of which accounts for very much of the game. That's it. And running on their feet.
