...but, as it turns out, the King of the Douchebags' own PAC spent 1.5 million dollars to buy 67,000 of those 97,400 copies of the book.

I took care to verify this claim before posting it.

67,000 copies of this book? Just to boost sales and make this douche look good?

Want to make this douche look good? Use the books as toilet paper for all the homeless in California.

Tale as old as time when it comes to politics

Tens of thousands of books purchased and delivered to warehouses. The money goes directly to the politician instead of their campaign and should be prosecuted like bribery.

Well, ask yourself this; who receives the royalties for the 67,000 sold? Wink

A little over $22 a book. Hardcover or paperback price?

How many media outlets will now tout his book as a NYT "bestseller" without telling "the rest of the story..."

All that hair gel costs real money. Someone's got to pay for it.

It really doesn’t need a book. I dunno if it even rates a pamphlet.

I’m not sure there’s really anything else worth saying about him.

Hmmm, curious what his cut of that sale is.

Per the internet the “usual” deal is…

The author typically earns royalties based on the following structure:
First 5,000 copies sold: 10% of the retail price
Next 5,000 copies sold: 12.5% of the retail price
All further copies sold: 15% of the retail price

Quick math says that is a touch shy of $215K, but my guess is greasy gavin garnered more gravy…

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???
