Per the internet the “usual” deal is…
“The author typically earns royalties based on the following structure: First 5,000 copies sold: 10% of the retail price Next 5,000 copies sold: 12.5% of the retail price All further copies sold: 15% of the retail price”
Quick math says that is a touch shy of $215K, but my guess is greasy gavin garnered more gravy…
