Truer words have NEVER been spoken.

Unfortunately, though, the Listeria outbreak of 2015 culled many flavors from Blue Bell's list of choices. My two favorites were Tin Roof and Fudge Brownie Nut. Don't see them anymore, sadly, but then again, I eat ice cream MAYBE twice a year now...

Awkward position for Ben & Jerry. I'd love to see the natives get the property back and build a casino, like others suggested. Be hard for those smarmy leftist assholes to find land in this country some tribe doesn't already have a claim to, but they knew that.

All these leftists love to make demands of others that they'd never willingly accede to themselves.

Tillamook is excellent stuff. Their medium cheddar was the one thing I was really kinda sad to leave behind when we left Washington. Turns out, they distribute here. I can get Tillamook anything at basically any grocery store.

Blue Bell is my favorite. It was not available for a long time and I've not found the half-pint size anywhere.

Maybe, but I have never found their habanero jack cheese on the east coast.

In my former company we did the automation system in their main facility in Texas and a new one coming soon.

I've toured the Texas facility to see our equipment in operation with other clients and have the t-shirt to prove it. The ice cream was amazing (tasting is included with every tour).

Publix Ice Cream is the best, no need to spend the big money for BJ, for the price point Publix Premium House brand is the go to over the other premium brands.

Hell, I’m not sure I ever saw it in Washington. If I did, I didn’t notice it vs the regular pepper Jack. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that.

Blue Bell, Tillamooks, and Publix are all regionally distributed. In my area it is Tillamook only which we're more than satisfied with...great products.

Tillamook Gelato is great too when you can find some. Enjoying some Toasted Coconut Fudge gelato right now!

I third Publix. Plus, it's a true half gallon.

Publix ice cream uses HFCS whereas Tillamook doesn't. That alone is a non-starter for me but again Publix isn't in my geographic area.

I used to be a BIG Ben & Jerry's icecream fan. I used to eat it as a kid and young adult, and even went to their factory for a tour with the family, one summer trip.

I am proud to say in the past 5-7 years or so, since learning of their progressive nature and liberal outspoken nonsense, I have not purchased a single tub of Ben & Jerrys ice-cream. The brand is perma banned from my household. My capatalist, conservative dollars, will spend money elsewhere.

Apparently Target stores carry Tillamook creamery products here in Dallas. I don't shop there so can't confirm. I don't eat cheese so don't care.

I was stationed 20 miles from Tillamook, Oregon for several years in the 1960s and have been back there several times for reunions. Have had ice cream at their home plant. Never went there when I was stationed there, though, although I did attend church in Tillamook. I thought of the dairy as just a cheese place, which didn't interest me at all. Their ice cream is good, but not better than Blue Bell.

Is everyone here seriously supporting Tillamook instead of Ben & Jerry’s?

One is super left, the other is super super left. Perhaps research a bit?

Uh oh.....

Guess I'll have to stick to Blue Bell with its HFCS...oh well.

Honestly, we usually buy's Breyers (my wife and son are fans) but they don't always have a good selection of flavors, so sometimes we get something else. Anyway, I've never even seen Tillamook until I opened the freezer this AM, but I was surprised to see it when I did, especially having followed the discussion in this thread.

Regardless, I don't 'really' care as I'm not a big consumer of Ice Cream, but which one is 'super super left'?
