FYI:

Click on your name in the upper left corner of any post you’ve made. You’ll see a choice for “view recent posts” you’ve made. Scroll through them for a few seconds of your busy day. You can easily “find the needle in the haystack”.

Para doesn’t owe you an email communication when you screw the pooch. You’re a guest here, along with thousands of others. You’re not that special.

Sadly he won't see your post because he doesn't have any way of getting an email telling him that you replied in this thread Frown Roll Eyes

This wasn't just a post. You started a thread and then couldn't stick around for 18 minutes to get an answer? Really?

You're a troll. Nothing more.

Bye.

Just to be slightly critical, I don't think he realizes that some folks aren't on the internet 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

And if they don't have a link to see response nor get back to it ....

I go to the search function and type in "Sbrooks" and it shows me everything I've posted recently.

Then I click on the stuff and see if people have responded to my post.

It's truly not rocket science.

I choose not to get emails about my posts, but still keep track of them easily enough.

I’m sorry but Haveme is full of crap. Claims to be here 10 years and doesn’t know how to find his posts? Bull. Wonders why a thread is closed even when he can see Para’s response? Come on. This guy has a stick up his ass and is just looking to self destruct. I suspect he will have a new CUT soon.

Johnny,
Take a deep breath...
It's as easy as 1,2,3 ...
1. Apologize to the owner of this forum for not answering his question. You may not have been aware of it, at the time, but you are now.
2. Resolve to follow up when you post esp. when you are the OP.
3. Put your email in your profile if you want other members to be able to contact you.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

You know, it really throws it into sharp focus here, how hard it is for some people to just apologize and move on. People in my own life “apologize” this way and it’s maddening. Whether you meant to or not, clearly you’ve tweaked Para and instead of trying to do the right thing, you tell him to calm down. Does that somehow ever work for you in your offline interactions with people?
