A lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign was acquitted Tuesday of lying to the FBI when he pushed information meant to cast suspicions on Donald Trump and Russia in the run-up to the 2016 election.

The case against Michael Sussmann was the first courtroom test of special counsel John Durham since his appointment three years ago to search for government misconduct during the investigation into potential ties between Russia and Trump’s 2016 campaign. The verdict represents a setback for Durham’s work, especially since Trump supporters had looked to the probe to expose what they contend was egregious bias by law enforcement officials who investigated the former president.

The jury deliberated on Friday afternoon and Tuesday morning before reaching its verdict.

“While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the jury’s decision and thank them for their service. I also want to recognize and thank the investigators and the prosecution team for their dedicated efforts in seeking truth and justice in this case,” Durham said in a statement.

Yep. It's a political verdict. Inside the beltway. Protect the swamp.

Trump was an outsider that disrupted the D.C. gravy train. He had to go at all costs. And even with the deck stacked against him by everyone he still got more votes than any sitting President in history.

Even a special prosecutor who seems motivated to uncover the truth and hold people accountable is hampered by D.C. Judges and D.C. Juries. Should have changed the venue to somewhere else, but the alleged crime occurred in D.C. so that's a hard sell.

- Defense contractors need wars and Senators/Reps need the manufacturing jobs in their states/districts. Biden hasn't started a new war but 40B in aid to Ukraine is going to be a lot of hardware.
- Pharmaceutical companies need mandatory vaccines and endless boosters.
- Many businesses use illegal labor to keep costs down, and elites use them for domestic jobs.
- Tons of manufacturing was outsourced to China and tariffs raise the cost of parts and finished products.
- Globalists want the U.S. to be just another country.
- China wants to be top dog in the world, and many politicians are selling out.
- Banks need cheap money from the Fed.
- Green everything needs massive subsidies because none of it can compete in the market.
- Globalists need CO2 regulations so they can control the energy use of every person and decide who gets to have a bigger footprint. Nobodies will get little allowances, while the elite will get as much as they want.

And on and on.

Remember when the prosecutor dropped charges against one of Trump's people and the judge wouldn't dismiss the case? Heads the GDC's win, tails the people lose.

O-Zero corrupted the federal government almost completely. It is hard to believe 8 years was all it took. Sadly, the only thing stopping them now is 5 SCOTUS Justices, a small number of Senators that seem to be above the corruption (well, mostly), and state governments in conservative states that are suing to block various things.

Question is if they would have done this to just any Republican president, including De Santis if he runs and wins in 2024.

A real living example of how far the judicial system in this country has fallen/deteriorated.

However, this does not surprise me as I had a family member and friends involved in the MCF up in North Idaho when the feeb sniper shot and killed a woman who was nursing her newborn infant. All because her husband would not go undercover for them against another, nearby, settlement. And, I know this to be true because I spent 2 weeks with 9 members of the Idaho State Police who were on the scene when it happened! We were on a previously scheduled float trip down the Colorado River right after it happened.

At least it's public info now, Durham's report will tell us more, and hopefully Hillary will never get elected to anything again.

Probably impossible to find jurors in DC who are not liberal. We all know that liberals are snakes. They could catch one of their own sucking a horse d!?& and they would still defend them.

Judge in Sussmann case is now set for life. No one hands bags of cash like in movies. But spouse will get more clients, kids get into any schools they want to. That’s how real world works in DC. Nothing vulgar. Just lots of behind the scenes wishes granted now.

Sussman would have appealed and may have gotten it reversed. But I don't think he would have flipped and provided testimony about Hillary. He would have taken the minimum sentence in minimum security and be rewarded for carrying her water.

Had he flipped and implicated the FBI and Hillary, he would have a lot of people against him in many ways.

A demonstration of the current "justice" and "just us" systems in place, IMHO.

Just for the record, not talking to them is one thing. Openly lying to them, as Sussman did, it something all together different.

So a jury full of Clinton and Obama donors along with an Obama appointed judge presiding don’t think Hillary’s stooge was guilty of any wrongdoing here? Never saw that coming
