I've been retired for about seven years now. To be honest, I usually gave no idea what day it is. It sort of feels like Groundhog Day. LOL

We had to get a “clock” that instead of time shows what day of the week it is.

Mostly I do, until I sit down at the computer at night and refresh my newsfeed reader, and there is not very much tech news (Sat or Sun).

When in doubt, mumble

I am not retired and forgot what day it is often.
Especially for a couple weeks after my days off rotate.

Happens to me often and I am only semi retired. It’s one of the reasons why I really like day/date dive watches.

Only time I bother to keep track is if I have an appointment.

Oh, and if the Post Office is closed, it's probably Sunday. Or maybe some sort of holiday.
Or I lost track of what time it is too.

No, weekly meds organizer keeps me straight as long as I refill with 1 day left. If empty, there may be a question.

I had my patience tested... I'm negative.

Yea, I forget but I also forgot in my working days when I was on 7 days a week. As skilled trades in the auto industry 7 days a week was very common.
