That's awesome! For those that aren't huge baseball fans... this is an oversimplification, but generally, the minor leagues have A teams, AA teams, and AAA teams... The AAA team is usually the players on the cusp of breaking into the big leagues. AA players get called up to AAA ball, and so on. (There are multiple teams or leagues at A level or even below that players can start in or play for specific reasons or instruction) It is pretty rare for players to move from A or even AA ball right to the majors (except for Mike Trout type talent). it is very common for players in the minors to move around teams in trade, even elite level talent. But with that said.... this means he is in the very top group of baseball players in the world. Good for him, and I hope he does well and gets promoted up the chain. Strive to live your life so when you wake up in the morning and your feet hit the floor, the devil says "Oh crap, he's up." | |||
