We have 2 years before the next elections. How about we pass a voter integrity law? If you want to vote you need a photo ID tied to a SSN.

It's 2018 and according to stats 95% of all adults in the USA have a cell phone. If you can figure out how to get and afford a cell phone then you can figure out how to get a picture ID if you want to vote.

Put somebody in charge at Justice who will enforce it. If the illegals and Dems know they can no longer fraudulently vote themselves into more free shit without fear of being prosecuted then we will see the end of these cases with more votes tallied than a district has registered voters.

https://www.breitbart.com/poli...atic-senate-recount/

Incumbent Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) released a statement Wednesday embracing a state-wide recount in a race he is currently losing by nearly 35,000 votes with 100 percent of precincts reporting.
“We are proceeding to a recount,” Nelson said in an early morning statement.

“Unofficial results show U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson narrowly trailing GOP candidate Rick Scott by a little more than just 34,500 votes,” the campaign statement read. “That’s less than one-half percentage point difference, state law requires a recount when candidates are within one-half point.”

State laws triggers an automatic recount if the margin is 0.5 percent or less. Currently, Scott, the current governor of Florida, leads by just 0.42 percent.

If the margin had dropped to 0.25 percent or less, there would be a hand recount throughout Florida, reminiscent of the 2000 presidential election, where the margin between former President George W. Bush and Al Gore dwindled into the hundreds — out of millions of votes cast.

Unless there has been a massive tabulating error somewhere, the chances of Nelson overcoming a 34,7000 lead are almost non-existent. Without an error, recounts of this kind, especially machine recounts, tend to declare the same winner even when the margins are much, much smaller.

They'll find some previously misplaced thumb drives in Broward County.

"The campaign had been waiting Tuesday night on returns from Broward County, where numbers could not be input electronically in seven precincts and had to be driven to county elections offices to be manually entered via thumb drives."

The Florida felon thing is troubling if it really means that state will be blue, but outside of that last night went just fine. The hearings brought some conservatives out, but I'd wager many still stayed home. Also, many who crossed party lines for President Trump probably didn't do last night. Even at a disadvantage the GOP took the Dems best punch and came out of it just fine. No reason for pessimism.

The gun-ban kiddies are mad.

The Guardian - Pain for Parkland students after pro-gun candidates win: 'I'm shaking with anger'

Enjoy. Wink

Despite months of tireless campaigning, student activists watched with frustration as Florida races failed to bring change

Election night brought new sadness and frustration to Parkland, Florida, where a school shooting in February left 17 people dead.

Gun control made some advances nationwide. Democrats, who have embraced gun control as a winning campaign issue, took control of the House of Representatives, where only two years ago, lawmakers held a sit-in on the House floor because Republican leaders refused even to allow a vote on stricter gun laws.

Some Republicans backed by the National Rifle Association (NRA) lost their races, including in Virginia, Texas, and Colorado, where a gun control advocate defeated the NRA-endorsed incumbent who had represented Columbine and Aurora, the sites of two of America’s deadliest mass shootings.

But in Florida, less than nine months after one of the country’s deadliest school shootings, and just days after a mass shooting at a yoga studio in the state’s capital, voters selected pro-gun candidates in the state’s two major races, for governor and for US senate.

Sofie Whitney, an activist and student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, during a Vote for Our Lives event.

After months of nonstop campaigning to vote out the politicians blocking gun laws, the students who survived the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting this February, and the parents of their classmates who were killed, will be living in a state with an NRA-endorsed governor and two senators with a long history of NRA support.

“I’m shaking with anger right now,” Jacyln Corin, a high school senior who helped found the March for Our Lives student movement, told a room of fellow activists at an election watch party in Parkland Tuesday night. “It’s like the same feeling I was getting the night of 14 February, so angry that I don’t know what to do with that anger.”

McSally is only 15,000 votes ahead of Sinema

There has been a delay

https://www.azfamily.com/news/...95-9f80ae37029c.html

Arizona’s knock-down, all-out Senate race is heading into overtime

Republican Martha McSally and Democrat Kyrsten Sinema were separated by a small fraction of the votes tabulated as of early Wednesday, with hundreds of thousands of uncounted ballots still outstanding.

Though the vast majority of Arizona voters cast their ballots early by mail, those who receive early ballots but then drop them off in person at polling stations on or close to Election Day can jam up the system.

That’s because the state’s most populous county, Maricopa, can take days to count those ballots while they simultaneously tabulate Election Day votes.

The so-called “late earlies” may not be counted until Thursday in the county, where about 60 percent of Arizona’s voters live. Arizona counties with far fewer voters may also face long delays processing those ballots.

That leaves the contentious Senate race a cliffhanger

According to the NY Times, with 99% of precincts (1,478 of 1,489) reporting, McSally leads Sinema 49.3% to 48.4%. That’s a difference of nearly 16,000 votes. However, as the Arizona Republic explains, those are the results that came in yesterday throughout the day. The state still hasn’t counted “late early ballots” and the next time we’ll get an update on those results is Thursday:

Recorder’s Office officials in Maricopa County, the state’s most populous county, received data from polling locations well into the night, spokeswoman Murphy Hebert said. The system was being updated as ballots were processed, she said.

The data reflect in-person votes cast on Election Day. The office then starts processing the “late early ballots,” which include those dropped off at polling places on Election Day.

“That’s going to take days,” Hebert said.

She said the recorder will not update results Wednesday because of the lengthy signature-verification process. The next scheduled update is at 5 p.m. Thursday and then every day at 5 p.m. until the office is done counting ballots.

estimates of the uncounted ballots are from 546,000 to 650,000

Florida might have a recount for senate race and governor race

https://www.orlandosentinel.co...-20181108-story.html

The Senate race is already likely headed to a machine recount, which is triggered when the margin is less than 0.5 percentage points. Nelson trailed Scott by 0.26 points, or less than 22,000 votes. A hand recount, a more thorough process than a machine recount, would happen if the race was within 0.25 points.

In the governor’s race, Democrat Andrew Gillum was 0.52 percentage points behind Republican Ron DeSantis, a margin of just less than 43,000 votes, just 0.02 percentage points away from a machine recount.

Marco Rubio has a long twitter thread about oddities in Broward and Palm Beach Counties where officials did not count ballots within the legally required time and are refusing to say why or how many ballots are left to count. He implies that there are shenanigans going on designed to manufacture enough votes to steal the Senate seat and the governorship. The tweets are shown below:

-"#BayCounty was hit by a Cat 4 Hurricane just 4 weeks ago,yet managed to count votes & submit timely results. Yet over 41 hours after polls closed #Broward elections office is still counting votes? "

-#Florida law requires counties report early voting & vote-by-mail within 30 minutes after polls close. 43 hours after polls closed 2 Democrat strongholds #BrowardCounty & #PalmBeachCounty are still counting & refusing to disclose how many ballots they have left to count. #Sayfie

-Latest ballots dumped by #Broward &/or #PalmBeach flipped Ag Comm race to Dem & shaved another 4k+ from Scott’s lead in Senate race

Since 3am Wed slow drip from these 2 Dem controlled counties cut Scott lead from 54 to 17K. And they refuse to disclose # of ballots they have left

-#Broward election supervisors ongoing violation of #Florida law requiring timely reporting isn’t just annoying incompetence. It has opened the door for lawyers to come here & try to steal a seat in the U.S. Senate & Florida Cabinet

-Now democrat lawyers are descending on #Florida. They have been very clear they aren’t here to make sure every vote is counted.

- They are here to change the results of election; &
- #Broward is where they plan to do it.

-A U.S. Senate seat & a statewide cabinet officer are now potentially in the hands of an elections supervisor with a history of incompetence & of blatant violations of state & federal laws.

-#Broward supervisor:
- says she doesn’t know how many ballots are left to be counted; &
- Isn’t reporting hourly or regularly, but rather releasing thousands of additional votes, often in the overnight hours, that are chipping away at GOP leads
