I learned that in addition to a major but random miss - bad enough to cause a check engine light - on my elderly friend's Mazda Tribute, it also has a parasitic draw on the battery. Went over to pick it up and take it to a shop this morning and the brand new battery was flat after the car sitting in the garage for ~3 months. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent. | |||
