She probably doesn't work there any more.

Or maybe she stuck it out and now she's the manager and trains the new hires. Razz

I will not buy a Garden Weasel because I assume anything advertised on late night TV is junk.

I didn’t buy Fruit of the Loom underwear initially because I had a hard time pronouncing the name as a recent Korean immigrant. In the ensuing 44 years my English got better, but I still get Hanes.

I had to chuckle at this. I somehow prefer Hanes as well, I just do not have such a good reason, haha

Yea Verily. It is wondrous how our knowledge base gets built up. I have found in subsequent years that some of things I heard, thought, supposed were pretty weak.
Doesn't matter, we think we know what we know, haha.

I can't bring myself to buy Heinz ketchup simply because John Kerry is married to Teresa Heinz. That's probably the weirdest reason for me not buying a certain product. Most of the others are related to stupid commercials.

Any food made/processed in China. I don't trust it to be safe to eat given their history with food.

Yes, yes they are and will be completely gone soon. Come on over, join us in the BT land. Water's fine!

I use my bluetooth buds 95% of the time.

Still, a headphone jack is one of those things I just gotta have. Hey, the OP asked, didn't he?

Google Pixel 3A and 4A both have headphone jacks at about $400. I've got the 3A XL and it has been really good for me, especially for the price.

Doesn't matter how great they are, I will never buy any Legion SIGs, just because of the stupid Legion club gimmick.

Just as an FYI, the VP9 has paddles. The VP9-B does not.

Yep, have the normal VP9 and VP9SK. My longslide top end conversion came from HK with the "-B" mark which I was not happy about.

ANY gun with a "Billboard"--e.g. "Tactical", "8 Times" (the dumbest!), "Carry"--also dumb--what else would you do with a handgun?, "Ladysmith"--thankfully gone into history, "Raging Whatever", "Carry Comp", etc.

Gun designers need to grow up!

Nothing with fake sugar.

Our bodies evolved over millions of years to process natural plant sugars and not this artificial crap.

I'll take that one step further... I'll never buy a diamond from anyone, because diamonds are a scam.

Amen. I will never buy a diamond in my life. Got damn DeBeers scam from 100 years ago.

Nothing that is listed as “GMO free”...I have family that really make a scene on holidays about everything concerning food to the point of being obnoxious...I always request that my veggies have Xtra GMOs added (I get looks Big Grin)

I prefer to not buy beverages in cans, because it's not possible to drink all of it. I will buy it if there is no bottle version available and I want a drink, though.

I feel the same way. However, it's not a problem because I only put catsup on meatloaf and never cook one myself.

For many years I stopped buying any Nabisco products because they'd been bought out by R. J. Reynolds, the tobacco company (and I despise smoking). I don't buy Kraft products, either, for the same reason (except Miracle Whip--I don't like mayonnaise and MW is a necessity for me.) I just don't think tobacco companies should be making my food.

This!

I purchased a Kimber Solo when it came out. Supposedly, The break in was to fire just one magazine. It also came with a list of recommended ammunition. It soon became clear that you couldn’t fire a complete magazine without a problem. Then Kimber drastically cut what ammunition to use.
Mine went back once but nothing changed. In the end I had metal pieces that fell out, the slide that would go forward if I just shook the pistol. I had a gunsmith look at it. He asked how many rounds I’d fired. When I said 600, he replied that he expected it was a couple of thousand.
Back to Kimber and they replaced it with a new one. I took a look and traded it for a Springfield EMP. Which has run flawlessly.

Shell gas. Years ago when I was growing up my parents had a van that never seemed to run well on Shell gas. I won't buy it except as a last resort.

Pink or purple tools.

Just not going to happen. I will NEVER buy one, no matter what it is or who makes it.

Went into the tool aisle once in Targt. All tools were pink. Nooooo! It was like a bad dream. Haven’t been back since. No reason to go, never need to again.
I’m old school enough that NOTHING in my shop is pink.
