Those fucktards Smiley & McGee telling people that Providence is safe. Meanwhile there's a mass shooter running around, they don't know who it is or where it is, but come on down. It's safe.

I like the part where the big tip that led police to the suspect came from a homeless former Brown student that was living in the basement of the Brown physics building where the murders took place.

The killer and MIT professor were classmates in Portugal in the 90s. The killer was a legal permanent resident of the USA. The killer was let in under our Diversity Visa program.

The expressions are part of the ASL thing.

SHOCKING DETAILS that further reveal security issues at Brown University. Why is a homeless man sleeping in the basement of the school building?

A homeless guy and former Brown graduate helped police crack the case. But there is more to the story.

According to my sources, the homeless guy told police he sleeps in the basement of the Barus and Holley building. Earlier in the day, before the shooting, he said he saw the suspect in the basement area and followed him out.

As the homeless guy is trying approach the suspect, he sees him walk toward his car and unlock it. But then he locks it, when he noticed the homeless guy.

After the shooting, the homeless man posted on Reddit saying, “I’m being dead serious. The police need to look into a grey Nissan with Florida plates, possibly a rental.” The post went on to say, “I know because he used his key fob to open the car, approached it and then something prompted him to back away. When he backed away, he relocked the car. I found that odd so when he circled the block I approached the car that is when I saw the Florida plates.”

It was that Reddit post that eventually led police to the shooters car picked up on Flock cameras (police just put in a car description and can track cars captured on flock cameras).

While police credit this man for cracking this case— it still begs the question of what kind of security measures are in place at the Ivy League school, that a homeless person could just be sleeping in basement

English is hard:

NBC News:
“Officials said Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, 48, appeared to die from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was found dead in a storage facility in New Hampshire.”

Like magic. He wasn’t there, then he was and did so so he could shoot himself to death.

Also allegedly NBC News, an alleged news outlet:

From Nov. 26 to Nov. 28, and again from Nov. 28 to Nov. 30, the suspect allegedly rented a hotel room in Boston.

On or about Dec. 1, the suspect allegedly rented a gray Nissan Sentra from a car rental agency in Boston. Security video showed the suspect at the rental agency.

On or about Dec. 14, Google email and voice accounts allegedly tracked the suspect's location to the vicinity of Boston University.

None of those activities are illegal and there’s proof the guy did those actions and as such cannot be alleged.

I think we will find that Brown disabled security cameras after leftist pro-islamic whiners complained that cameras restrict protestors' free speech. Last night they could not admit that more cameras might have helped catch the guy sooner and prevent him from killing the MIT Professor.

For the life of me I cannot understand why schools are so lax on security then are surprised when that leads to bad things. The Uvalde school shooting was enabled by a teacher the propped open a locked door. You ask to harden schools and have armed security and they say "more guns is not the answer!".

In reading about the program, my first thought was “We do what?” Apparently, we give visas on a lottery basis to 50,000 people a year from countries we don’t get a lot of immigration from. The requirements to be eligible are minimal. Once here, they fill out some paperwork to get a Green Card.

What a BS program. I know for a fact that Portugal, where he came from, doesn't do the same thing for Americans. They did have a Golden Visa program that required a minimum $500K real estate investment, but they canceled it because too many of their own citizens complained it was driving up housing prices. What a concept, to put your own people first.

I wonder what it was about the guy whose profile was scrubbed from their website? And why did they do it when they did it? Wholly unrelated apparently, but I suspect at the time they felt the need to do it for some reason.

Diversity.
What they really mean is "dilution".

di·lu·tion
/dəˈlo͞oSHən,dīˈlo͞oSHən/

noun

-the action of making a liquid more dilute.
"the milk factor is greatly reduced by dilution"

-the action of making something weaker in force, content, or value.
"he is resisting any dilution of dogma" **

a liquid that has been diluted.

plural noun: dilutions

Because people looked at his picture and thought “That’s the guy!” Except it wasn’t true. The guy didn’t deserve the world’s scrutiny just as the guy from Wisconsin didn’t.

This was a early Joe Pesci/Brandon Frasier movie based at Harvard. Forget the name. Early/mid 80's

Kind of like in the old "Police Squad!" TV show when the guy inside a wastebasket or toilet bowl would pop his head out and give Leslie Nielsen's character a clue that would help wrap the case up...

There’s something of a tradition of “pet” homeless around universities - especially if they were bright.

Not saying it’s right/appropriate, but it is a “thing”.

To go off track a bit I have to wonder since the homeless guy is described as a brown graduate- what useless nonsense degree did he pursue that landed him homeless with a 4 year ivy school degree?
Regardless of security measures, I think it would be relatively easy to move about a college campus homeless and sustain oneself fairly easily. With so many people moving around finding a blind spot in the facilities to exploit wouldn’t take too long.
