Low tax burden? Your property taxes are probably twice what I pay. Granted you don’t pay sales tax but in the end the tax man is going to get his nickel.
As far as 2nd amendment freedom we have it in spades. No issues here.

When you compare NH politics to its neighbors then NH seems conservative but that’s a very low bar. If you remember NH voted for Harris, not Trump.

These "pressers" have been clown shows for far too long.

Yes, some information needs to be made public.

But the "format and production" is beyond the need of what (f)actual information is provided.

Not everyone needs a turn at the electric lollipop. Where's Joe Friday when you need him?

My belief is a lot of this silliness of bad information, stupid deer in headlight responses when it goes off script or trying to correct all the wrong info would diminish.

Channeling Nicholson from The Departed as Costello interesting enough a movie about the messed up Boston Police Department....

It's absolutely one messed up group of people, and it sure appears they are hiding some things to protect the Universities cash and ideological lunatics running it behind the scenes, meaning not just staff but big doners....

If the school turned off their cameras this is going to be a lawsuit like no other. The campus police chief was previously fired for a padded resume in Utah. The whole thing is wild to watch. What is with this curtain behind them. They really have that little money in the media department.the whole thing looks like it is being run out of a basement somewhere.

DNA, Fingerprints Found on Shell Casings Where Brown University Shooting Occurred

Law enforcement has recovered shell casings with DNA and fingerprints from the area in which the Brown University shooting occurred, sources told the New York Times.

NYT added that Colonel Oscar Perez also “told reporters that investigators have DNA evidence.”

Rhode Island Attorney General Peter F. Neronha (D) commented on the “person of interest” being pursued by law enforcement, saying, “He will be caught… And it’s just a matter of time before we catch him.”

Breitbart News noted that it was Neronha who admitted there were “fewer, if any” cameras in the part of the Barus and Holley engineering and physics building where Saturday’s Brown University shooting occurred.

Neronha told reporters, “So there’s the back part of the building, the old part, and the front part, the new part. The shooting occurs in the old part towards the back… and that older part of the building, there are fewer, if any, cameras in that location, I imagine, because it’s an older building.”

Because of the lack of on-site cameras, videos of the individual described as a “person of interest” have consisted of clips from a distance of him walking down streets or across intersections.

Police Identify Suspect in Brown Shooting; Manhunt Ongoing

Law enforcement officials in Providence, Rhode Island, investigating last weekend's deadly shooting at Brown University have identified a suspect, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

Sources close to the investigation told Newsmax on Thursday that police have identified the suspect as a Portuguese national and that a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The sources said the suspect appears to be linked to the fatal shooting Monday of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The professor, Nuno Loureiro, a nuclear scientist from Portugal who was a member of MIT's departments of nuclear science and engineering and physics, as well as the director of the school's Plasma Science and Fusion Center, was pronounced dead Tuesday morning.

FBI agents, Providence police, and members of state police were surrounding a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, shortly before 7 p.m. local time. Providence reported that at about 7:47 p.m., multiple law enforcement officials carrying weapons and wearing full tactical gear entered the facility.

The search in Salem is centered on a vehicle of a similar make and model that was allegedly seen in the area of Loureiro's murder.

Investigators learned of the suspect's identity late Wednesday night, with some reports describing him as a man in his 40s. Authorities have been searching for him since. The suspect's name has not been released.

The attack at Brown on Dec. 13 left two people dead and nine others injured. It triggered hours of chaos across the campus and surrounding neighborhoods as hundreds of officers searched for the shooter and urged students and staff to shelter in place.

Investigators have released a video timeline showing a person of interest's movements near the scene of the shooting.

Authorities are also urging residents who live in a wide swath of the city to double-check their cameras for any trace of clues, no matter how small.

On Wednesday, investigators released an "areas of focus" map showing three zones. They said the map charts the movements of the person of interest immediately before and after the shooting.

Police also said Thursday that a man captured on camera "in proximity" to the suspect was interviewed by law enforcement, WPRI-TV in Providence reported.

Authorities do not believe the man was involved in the attack. He told investigators he confronted the suspected gunman outside Brown before the shooting, multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation said.

Officials on Wednesday said that of the nine people injured, one remains in critical condition. Five people previously listed in critical but stable condition remain hospitalized and are making progress in their recovery. Three others who were hospitalized have returned home to be with their families, officials said.

The shooter killed Ella Cook, a 19-year-old sophomore from Alabama who was active in her church and served as vice president of the Brown College Republicans, and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, an 18-year-old freshman from Virginia whose family immigrated to the U.S. from Uzbekistan and who hoped to attend medical school.

Not the worst bit of obfuscation they've done. They'd have been better to have said we've narrowed down our suspects but, we'll provide a clearer picture once other parts of the case comes together and we'll get back to you. Unfortunately they've set a prescient on how-not-to-conduct-a-press-conference and everything coming out of them will be viewed through a cynical lens.
Meanwhile....

Since this case crossed state lines, this becomes a Federal case right?

Well gee, from genuine “whodunnit” baffling the kampus keystone kops chasing their tails and seemingly ignoring standard investigatory steps, refusing suggestions of connection to the MIT murder for 3-4 days all of a sudden becomes connected crimes, identified foreign national (illegal?) suspect, located and conveniently dead from “self inflicted gunshot”. Now it is all wrapped up with a tidy bow in one day.

Pretty convenient. Move along nothing to see here, move along…

My guess is the left wing media is done talking about this before the weekend.

He'a a legal resident from Portugal who attended Brown in graduate physics ~25 years ago, left after less than a year, fully withdrew a couple years later, and seems to have know the Professor from Portugal and possible from Brown.

Sounds like he failed at life, decided to "do something", shot up his alma mater, maybe a part of the building he was familiar with or a classroom he had attended, and then went and killed the professor. Doesn't look like any of the student victims were targeted.

He will probably have claims in any writings that the Professor stole his ideas or otherwise caused his downfall at Brown.

Doubt it...if there's any connection to the murder of the MIT professor, then the story is ripe for several journos to dive deep into the case. You're not wrong as the MSM wants to sweep this case away as just your standard homocide but, given how pointed the press was to city & university officials, and as Left as New England press-media is, I can't see this one drifting-off.

Yea, stupid clown show. Every single entity has to get up and thank all the others. Pat em on the back. Beyond ridiculous.
Again, I do not get how these folks live with themselves. Do they not realize just how stupid they look doing such?

If the sign language guy was not so busy with his hands he could of had a tissue box and handed out tissues so each one would be able to wipe the brown shit off their nose as they finished up.

Dana Perino on “The Five” said the news conferences with everyone repeating the same, limited, information reminded her of a quote she heard some time back “Everything has been said, but not everyone has said it yet.”

Summed it up perfectly.

The thing I don’t get with the ASL “interpreters” is the facial expressions as they “translate”. Some look similar to the ones I made while dealing with a 6mm kidney stone and my wife’s childbirth looks. Meanwhile the person talking is droning on in monotone about some minor detail. The visual data just doesn’t seem to match the verbal data.
