Fed & state are done & filed. My municipality wants me to file through some .gov agency now, that happens to want me to pay an estimated tax for first quarter next year as well. They will get a check when I feel so inclined, but not before the 15th. A Perpetual Disappointment... | |||

Turbotax now has an option where you can file now, pay later via bank draft. Pretty cool and reduces theft risk as noted above but still lets ME pick the date to pay and not have to worry about forgetting to mail, dropping dead, etc. Sure there's a theoretical risk of that data sitting on their server, but all the other keys to the kingdom are already there.
