Nice rifle but where's the ammunition.

Rifle's got to eat, you know?

This one probably won't eat anything..got a good deal on it and trying to trade it for a V9 with 18" barrel already.
I have a fair amount of food for my AR's but I hope price/availability holds out for another week.

Well, I just ordered not one, but two cases of .22LR. I tell myself I'm just being prudent, because both target leagues I shoot in had members drop out in the last "panic" because they couldn't get ammo.

Or am I just rationalizing?

^^^ Over the past few years, I come to believe that it's impossible to "just rationalize" more .22LR. You know you'll shoot up that second case sooner or later.

Hoo, boy. EBR parts or ammo? Both, to be sure, but in what order now?

The 9mm NATO arrived.
Now if SGAmmo ever restocks the Prvi Partizan M193, I'll be on it.

The 5.56 TAP must be in pretty good demand. They had 76 cases 4 hours ago and now down to 1 Eek

I might have ordered two cases of it to do my part.

Still eyeing the 9mmm NATO but had no 5.56 defensive rounds sitting around.

Of course not. Smile

I saw numerous references to the problems that ammunition shortages caused to competitors, potential students, and firearms trainers in previous crises. The ammunition I have in store isn’t to keep the one gun I can shoot at a time going during the final battle for civilization, but rather to allow me to shoot as much as I want when I want. I don’t have to think, “Maybe I should wait until the weather is better rather than ‘wasting’ ammunition on a day like this,” or “Are two drills enough, or can I justify another?”
Peace of mind: priceless.

A case of 1,000 rounds sounds like a lot and some recoil in terror at the thought of what they think is Armageddon.

With my 2 daughters, every time we go out, we put 500 down range.
We try to get out every week, so that's 2 thousand rounds a month.

Earlier today I was talking in the driveway with my liberal/gun owning neighbor. I mentioned I just received 5,000+ rounds yesterday. He response was why do you need so much? I told him I wanted to be prepared for the election, just in case. He's content with the 6 he has in the cylinder and an extra box. He blamed the NRA fooling dumb gun owners into panic buying during elections and other events. I changed the subject.

We go through about 1,500-1,600 rounds a month during competition season and 500 or so during the winter months. I don't want to give up competition, but if it gets over a quarter for 9mm I will cut back, somewhere between that and 35c and I will take hiatus. We are set through January for 9mm, fall 2017 on .22LR, and 2020 on 5.56 (don't shoot the AR as much). I hope to get at least one more case of 9 before Nov. 8, preferably two.

If I could afford to I'd buy a pallet of 9mm.

Yeah, me too.

Come on SGAmmo, where's the Prvi Partizan M193.
I'm down a couple of cases because of my daughters.
Help a brother out, you know?

Wouldn't it be cool to order 10,000 dollars worth of bulk ammunition and have it delivered?
Your UPS delivery person wouldn't be thrilled.
But I would be.

We can dream, can't we?

That would be a wet dream for me. I take a week off work just to go pew, pew, pew.

My mom's boyfriend actually did that once. It was delivered in several trips and followed up with a visit from the ATF. Boxes/cases, what's the difference?

As for the Prvi Partizan M193 $349.50 delivered from TSUSA

Does Target Sports include shipping or not.
SGAmmo does not. It's about $16 to ship a case to me.

I use SGAmmo a lot.
Due to both our respective geographic locations, I get deliveries in 3 days. Not bad.

There are deals and then they are deals.
I suppose it's all relative, but even the deals these days are pricey.
About the only real deal we get is the shipping.
The shipping prices aren't bad.

Yes it includes shipping, but it usually takes about 4-5 business days.

Oh, it is about the same price then in the big picture.

It's weird buying a case by the box.
I did that from Cabelas once.

I just ordered another case of ammo from SGAammo. Big Grin

American Eagle 9MM 147 GR for $235.80 shipped. I have some in the stash and shot some last week and wow is that nice shooting ammo in 9MM. Accurate and easy recoiling even in my Walther PPS. My carry ammo is Federal HST 147.
