I don't think there is any way to say how many of the new gun purchasers are "libs". Many may be, but in the current atmosphere it seems more likely to me that they are just afraid of things getting much, much worse and want a means of protection.
Hopefully this will lead to more 2A support by them becoming more knowledgeable, but but that remains to be seen. It might also mean the leftists want to arm themselves against the rest of us too.

Not unless the 4473 has been modifed recently, asking for political ideology/party affiliation.

Regardless of race, I am hopeful that some of these first timer buyers are either Democrats or Independents that have come to their senses and realize the nature of the threat posed by the Democratic Party.

The SIG Academy normally runs about 20 101 classes per month. Now they are almost to 100, with 3-4 running at the same time, at any given time.

I'm just finishing up 3 days of classes at SIG today and, to the point of this thread, a full 25 percent of 2 out of 3 classes I took were black, latino or middle Eastern. Like 25% in 2 different classes and about 15% in the third class.

One of those classes is an advanced class but with low prerequisites and over half the people in the class were basically brand new to the idea of looking out for themselves and were seeking training.

My gun club also has lots of brand new owners signing up.

What I've been seeing in training and the gun shops very much confirms that real pro 2A sentiment, especially among minorities, is ascendant.

Guess people finally had that "oh shit" moment that made them open their eyes.
