I know more than a few Brit's here, a few former LEO's from England, and a couple of Vets.
The first thing they do, once they have their Green Card, is get a permit and buy a gun.
Every former British LEO I've spoken with here, says exactly the same thing, they moved here to get away from restrictive laws over there, and a societal change due to non-integration of Immigrants to England.

He probably lives in a secure gated community and doesn't really think he'll ever need to use his guns for other than his "Rambo poses in front of a mirror." They certainly made a big deal of out this idiot. I found the photo of him handing over the rifle bag to the police officer especially irritating for some reason.
