Anyway, I read that Phoenix (or maybe Arizona) has a statute requiring the guns to be resold to wholesalers. So the gubmint will get the money and the guns will still be in circulation. Smart man.
Edit... http://money.cnn.com/2015/10/2...ized-guns/index.html

I know that confiscated guns in AZ need to be sold but I'm not sure about when some twatwaffle like this clown turns one in.
I suspect it will be on the auction block....and there's no freaking way ANYONE is going to pay thousands for them.

<<<<< TAKE A LOOK AT MY CUT !!

People like this idiot should stay where they came from.
If they don't want to integrate into the society, they should leave.
We are Not going to let immigrants come here, and turn this great country into what they left behind.
You're not happy here ? Fine... Leave !!

I know more than a few Brit's here, a few former LEO's from England, and a couple of Vets.
The first thing they do, once they have their Green Card, is get a permit and buy a gun.
Every former British LEO I've spoken with here, says exactly the same thing, they moved here to get away from restrictive laws over there, and a societal change due to non-integration of Immigrants to England.

He probably lives in a secure gated community and doesn't really think he'll ever need to use his guns for other than his "Rambo poses in front of a mirror." They certainly made a big deal of out this idiot. I found the photo of him handing over the rifle bag to the police officer especially irritating for some reason.

Been kinda busy but I'll get right on that. Wouldn't want people to think I'm a little bitch because I have guns.

Plan was, back in the day, that I'd get my citizenship, and then immediately celebrate down at the local gun store with the $25K I STILL have set aside for buying guns, after walking by the Sheriff's office to put my name down for the next CCW course...

Same for Mrs tac, BTW.

You think any GM would trade this sissy for a guy like Tac? We'd have to give them this pansy, eat up all of Tac's contract, and still give them 4 minor leaguers and a player to be named later.

That's how the Coyotes have ended up near the bottom of the NHL heap the past few years.

All I can think of after reading this:

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

I don't want to single out stickman, as he's not the only one I've seen say something like this lately, but his example is a good for me to use.

I certainly am not one with clean hands who gets to claim any form of moral high ground, so please don't take my comments as such.

I simply want to use this example to illustrate that some here have made passionate statements in the last few days that are extremely similar, if not exactly the same as what the twat from CBS said.

Perhaps stickman really does want this fellow citizen to have his home invaded, but I doubt any of us would really wish that on someone.

the CBS gal's statement has caused me to think a little more about what I say and how I view other people. I'm no damn hippy, I just think we need to be cognizant of what we say in emotion. It bit that gal in the ass, I don't want it to bite any of us.

The comments of this story is where the real humor is. It's great reading!

My favorite is this:

"Guys a tool. Didn't Phoenix just pass a bill that all firearms collected would no longer be destroyed but sold to licensed wholesalers? If memory serve me last year is when they decided it was more financially beneficial. So he just donated to the state and his guns will now be reintroduced to the streets where he has no control of them."

Lol he gave them away only to be sold back to the public. That is hilarious!

If he doesn't like our country, with its constitutional guarantees, there are a whole lot of other countries he could go to, where citizens are not permitted to be armed.

Right back where he came from, just to name one.

In 1999, the Institute of Medicine published the famous "To Err Is Human" report, up to 98,000 people a year die because of mistakes in hospitals.

When they quote statistics for gun control I remember the # of people who die each year due to "Medical Misadventures".

esdunbar, I stand by my statement. I am 100% fine with that idiot learning that this isn't the world he thinks it is. Choosing to not arm yourself is fine but disarming me is unacceptable, it is at that point that I give zero fucks about him.

“Pillock”; had to look that one up.

British English has so many more interesting words for insults than does American English. Must be all those holdovers from that Shakespeare stuff they still teach, since he’s been relegated to the “dustbin of History” in American schools.

Yeah, but what are the odds of being involved in a drive by fruiting?

Apparently the guy in the article doesn't understand it's the 2A that makes the difference between us being citizens and them being subjects.
