Gun owners all have a macho-man Rambo fantasy where they take out the bad guys, but that's all it is, a fantasy. That never happens.

Now then, if anybody breaks in, I'll go all Conan on their asses with my baseball bat, because I'm such a macho man.

Don’t you just love how the media called them high-powered guns? He claims he could have sold them for a few thousand dollars.

Anyway, I read that Phoenix (or maybe Arizona) has a statute requiring the guns to be resold to wholesalers. So the gubmint will get the money and the guns will still be in circulation. Smart man.

But you do need a bat to be a man...got it.

So what happens when the gov takes your bat? will you not be a man anymore?

Cuz right now you sound like someone who's scared of guns but wants someone else to take care of the problem for you.

Sonny, it's going to take way more than a bat to make a man out of you.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm sure that 10/22 makes you look menacing in front of the mirror Pring.

Don't you mean a cricket bat, Pring?
Not a bad idea, perhaps more effective than your tactical 10/22.

Wonder if his family was around in summer of 1940, in London, when authorities there were begging America to send them our long guns.

It seems that Herr Hitler was knocking at their front door and the Brits didn't have enough firearms for the Home Guard..

Now, they preach gun control to us.

btw, the guns we did send, and there were a great many, were never returned as they were dumped into the North sea following wars end.

First and foremost, fuck that dude.

Secondly, he might find himself in a real bad spot should he need to defend his family at home with a bat. Gotta be real close to use it, and I doubt he has the mindset to do that. Of course, an intruder very well might, after the bat has been taken from him.

And what's he going to do when he leaves home? Walk around in public with a friggin' bat?

You think any GM would trade this sissy for a guy like Tac? We'd have to give them this pansy, eat up all of Tac's contract, and still give them 4 minor leaguers and a player to be named later.
