Livingston County Deputies and the State Troopers showed a lot of patience in dealing with this clown.

Again, his lawyer is playing the race card here. Sure we are a predominately white resident county, no denying this. But his claims are the usual based on the fact that Robert Miles lived in the north part of the county in the 90’s.

This despite that the Southern Poverty Law Center a couple of years ago stated that there were NO organized hate groups found in this county.

But the whole defense will be based on this premise I’m sure. How those cops singled Jewell out on Interstate 96 of all the motorists that day, over 11k as of 2019 per day.

shovelhead - Sincerely hope you don't think I was calling you out w/ my reply to your earlier post.

I was merely commenting re: his potential 'I'm a victim' defense strategy. What deserves to be called out is the obnoxious behavior of that 'connected' Leftist Democrat that was threatening to throw his 'privilege' around! That 'scumbag politician' was profiled for his extremely reckless and dangerous behavior, NOT his skin-color, nor that he may belong to any other protected class the left may deem as oppressed in any way!

No, not at all, in fact I was thinking about another state Representative, Rebekah Warren Democrat from Ann Arbor who was arrested for being almost X3 the limit in December 2019. She pled to a lesser charge in the county it occurred, Oakland, which has gone Liberal. Of course she got probation, a slap on the wrist. Time will tell what Jewell gets but I hope they nail his ass on the assault charges.

Unfortunately with the regime we have in Lansing I’m going to assume that our county prosecutor will be getting pressure from higher ups in the state to “go easy” on this asshole.I’m losing all faith in state government here and nothing would surprise me.

Shovelhead - I remember the incident with Rebecca Warren, because, Ms Warren is our State Senator, because I have the misfortune to live in Ann Arbor. It is sickening to see these Democraps use their "privilege" as loser Dems to get off with a slap on the wist, when if you and I were 3X the legal limit, we would still be sitting in the Oakland County Jail today.

If you think you can, YOU WILL!!!!!

And another state Representative, this time a Republican, Ryan Posthumous from the west side of the state got nailed when he crashed his Jeep. He blew a .013, state limit is .08 This was Friday.

He now admits to having a drinking problem.

Guess they have to drink to put up with our Governor?

On the positive side, at least he didn’t assault a Paramedic or a cop like Jewell did.

Democrat State Rep. Jewell Jones back in the news

A court recently ruled Jones violated his bond conditions for a second time over an alcohol-monitoring tether, WDIV reported:

This was the second violation of his bond and he avoided jail time once again. In his previous bond hearing he was given an alcohol tether that would tell the court if he was drinking. He has to pay for the tether or it will shut off and he’d be violating his bond again.

Last week the tether shut off for nonpayment. Even though his probation officer said they were reminding him to pay week after week. Prosecutor’s argued that Jones’ bond should be revoked this time and he should be held in jail.

The judge said if Jones violated bond again he would be sent to jail.

In March, Jones spent $221 of his campaign funds in a strip club. Jones said “We have to meet people where they’re at sometimes.”

Also in March, campaign finance records showed Jones spent $700 at a Las Vegas restaurant

The Michigan House of Representatives has not issued any penalties against Jones.

He didn't have to tell us that. It's glaringly apparent. Saying you have a "drinking problem" is nothing but polite language. He's an alcoholic, and he's whipping this out now only because he thinks it will soften his fall. I have zero sympathy for this arrogant bastard.

Please explain to me, is .013 not less than .08?

State Rep. Bryan Posthumus rolls car, is arrested for OWI

His blood alcohol content was .13 percent. The legal limit in Michigan is .08 percent.

Michigan State Representative Jewell Jones was caught dead-to-rights

  • Driving off the road into a ditch (before which he was witnessed speeding),
  • Partially un-clothed, along with his squeeze, in said ditch (nature call? booty call?),
  • Attempting to impersonate a law enforcement officer,
  • Resisting arrest,
  • Carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated,

and threatening cops with "I'll call [Gov.] Whitmer."

He subsequently violated the conditions of his bail no less than three times, allegedly tampered with his tether, and was caught with a handcuff key taped to the bottom of his foot upon his third bail-violation booking.

This genius just turned down a plea deal

Oh, and he's out on bail again.
