I think that's the one I meant to post... Thx! "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Billionaire George Soros gave $246 million to groups behind Wednesday's "Day Without a Woman" protest, according to a report by a conservative think tank. Wednesday is "International Women's Day," and schools in at least four states canceled classes so teachers and staff members could participate in "Day Without a Woman" demonstrations. While movement organizers say the demonstration is meant to spotlight gender inequality, critics say it is intended to protest President Donald Trump. The strike was created by the same organizers of the historic Women’s March on Washington in January, which drew hundreds of thousands in protest of the president. A report released Wednesday claims that Soros -- whose net worth is $25.2 billion and who champions liberal causes -- gave millions to groups behind the demonstration. Of the march's 544 partners, 100 groups received funding from Soros that totaled $246 million, according to the conservative Media Research Center. Such groups included Planned Parenthood, the Center for American Progress and People for the American Way (PFAW), the report claims. "Those donations represent just a fragment of Soros’ massive global influence," the Media Research Center said on its website. "His Open Society Foundations have given away more than $13 billion to push his globalist, anti-American views." http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017...ers-246-million.html

In some states, this nothing new. In fact, Michigan does this every November 15th.

As a counter thought to the Soros funded socialist whiners, I am very grateful we have so many strong men and strong women who can look at the differences in the sexes and find ways to appreciate and respect each other. While understanding that the creator has a great sense of humor and is probably quite amused about the ways we all deal with (and are mystified by) those differences.

Thank you, Bre and Tara! I'll have five, please. Leftists are not happy unless they are setting some group against another group. Nothing can be just a celebration, it has to include a condemnation. Canadian PM Trudeau's wife did a cool thing, she sent out an Instagram that said: ""As we mark International Women's Day, let's celebrate the boys and men in our lives who encourage us to be who we truly are, who treat girls & women with respect". She posted a photo of herself and her husband -- who proudly declares himself a feminist -- showing them holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes. https://www.yahoo.com/news/pm-...s-day-020836419.html Needless to say, the leftist FemiNazis went berserk, filled with bile as they are. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

Well, I don't know how to even respond to their manifesto or this video. I guess this is real and there are just a lot of extremely stupid women out there. Some bullet points from their "platform":
Really? Let out all the real rapists? Guess rapists aren't violent towards women at all. The Palestinians are also know for their nonviolent ways and respect for women
How about you get a job and support yourself instead of expecting others to do it for you. That would really show some girl power. I guess depending on others to pay your bills is self empowering to some though.
Sex workers should get more than $15 per hour, only problem is that it's illegal in 49/50 states. How are we supposed to pay you $15 dollars an hour for a $10 dollar an hour job? Willing to pay more for your lattes and purses? They would go up in price and many companies would go out of business and stop producing your crap. Free health care, sicktime/health care/paid maternity care are pretty damn expensive, how are you going to pay for it? Damn them lattes just got really expensive.
Free abortion? Huh? Who's going to get rid of your unwanted children for you? Volunteers? Well if we are going to vacuum your unborn children out of you for free, why stop there, let's just make all healthcare free?
Institutional violence? Huh? Is the Smithsonian Institute trying to beat you up? Immigration raids exist because they need to capture criminals and disincentivize illegal business practices. Not really sure I can think of one state policy to with the stated goal of poverty. Jesus these people are loons. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

Staring back from the abyss |
Years ago I worked with a physician who had immigrated from the former Soviet Union (Romania as I recall). One day I asked him how the populace could have not only allowed, but welcomed the oppressive government they "enjoyed" for decades. He tried his best to explain it to me but it was such a foreign concept that I simply couldn't grasp it...until recently. Now that nearly 50% of our citizens would welcome it, I get it. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." To a lot of people in the old USSR, you hang around and do nothing, and on Friday you get a hunk of fatty beef and a quart of vodka-- that sounded good. For our growing underclass, you add in porn and legalized pot and you have parasite heaven. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

The NYPD detained a dozen protestors, including the leader of the Women’s March, Linda Sarsour, during the ‘Day Without a Woman’ protest on Wednesday afternoon. “Today, the national leaders of the Women’s March on Washington gathered with allies and those participating in the day’s actions for a show of solidarity and revolutionary love,” the statement reads. “After a peaceful protest in New York City in honor of A Day Without a Woman, 10 organizers were arrested by the New York City Police Department in an act of civil disobedience.” so who is Linda Sarsour ? http://www.breitbart.com/natio...arsour-womens-march/ Sarsour, who serves as the executive director of the Arab American Association of New York (AAANY) and who was honored by former-President Obama’s White House as a “champion of change,” seems as if she makes it a point to attach herself to every social justice cause known to man and tie it to Palestine She tweeted about "great" it was in Saudi Arabia because of paid maternity program: "10 weeks of PAID maternity leave in Saudi Arabia. Yes PAID. And ur worrying about women driving" Sarsour dismisses the fact that women in Saudi Arabia are treated as second-class citizens who are unable to drive, interact with men, and dress as they please as inconsequential. do these protesting women have any idea who their "leaders" are ?
