Greetings friends, I've been a member here since 2003. I've been a Sig enthusiast for a long time and mostly a lurker. I've learned so much about firearms, collecting, world events, knives, and just about every other topic imaginable here at this forum. One of my recent interests here has been a rekindled love of knives. My go to knife maker Bob Levine of Tullahoma Tennessee retired last year leaving me with a void to fill. Our very own SF members Sybo and Dozer have been filling that void. I contacted Jim (Sybo) a couple of weeks ago and asked him to build a knife for me so that I could give it away to a fellow Sig Forum member via a Karma. He really did a great job on this fixed blade knife and I'm happy and grateful to offer it to the community here. Karma Rules: Please have 100 posts or more Post or link to a photo that is aviation or rimfire shooting related. If you have some commentary about your photo please share. I love airplanes and fly regularly. I also love to shoot rimfire rifles and try to do that regularly as well. So share something related to either. The Karmanator will pick a winner on April 6th and i'll post it in this thread. Please have a valid email in your profile. Here is a photo of the beautiful fixed blade from Sybo (jim) DBKnives If you don't have a knife from Jim yet. Jump in the Karma. Or go buy one. You won't regret it! They are awesome! Thanks again to everyone here on SF! ****Winner Georgeair****This message has been edited. Last edited by: pbramlett, Regards, P.

Please include me in your generous karma. This is a site I use for airport weather and overall conditions. https://avcams.faa.gov/ Wasn’t sure if that met your qualifications for a photo since it is interactive and has live cameras. I’m a whirlybird guy so no fixed wing photos. Nice to see what remote airports look like when doing your planning. Thanks for the opportunity. That is a sweet knife.

Please include me as well! Rimfire story (spoiler alert - boring) - I have a Ruger 10/22 Takedown purchased a decade ago (on either Para's or Arc's recommendation, can't remember which) that I've only shot once. Not sorry I got it though. Aviation (this one is a better story) - My dad was a newspaper reporter for the Reading (PA) Eagle. When I was young (high school and earlier), Reading was known for a great airshow. In 1974, my dad covered the airshow and actually got to fly back seat with the Blue Angels on a practice day. It was one of the high points in his career. They even had a group photo of them autographed with his name. I was named after him and have the framed photo now. When people see it, they think I flew with the Blue Angels when I was in high school! (Well, not really, but it makes for a good story.) Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet. - Dave Barry "Never go through life saying 'I should have'..." - quote from the 9/11 Boatlift Story (thanks, sdy for posting it)

Wow, would love a shot at this. Thank you. Sometimes I just don’t want to take my shooting too serious and I just want to play cowboy. To that end this single six has given me many grins over the years. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

Congratulations on your anniversary! Please don't include me in the karma drawing, I'm pretty well covered in the knife department. I just can't pass up an opportunity to post pictures of my toys... Top to bottom: Winchester 75 target with a Williams peep that is very likely older than I am and still a tack driver. Henry lever .22 s/l/lr - Probably the most fun to shoot of any gun I've ever owned. Henry lever .22mag - My go-to for varminks around the farm. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Fighting the good fight |
Thanks for the Karma! Please add me to the list. This is a photo of my youngest stepson, from the first time I took him shooting about 10 years ago. He's firing my Glenfield (Marlin) Model 60 .22. That Christmas, we bought him his first gun, a stainless 10/22.

Very nice knife, I'm in please. Grandson (and I) are Civil Air Patrol members. Pic is of glider flights for cadets in 2018 at Triangle North Executive Airport in Louisburg NC. Grandson, 12 years old at the time, in the ABU camos, is walking back after hooking the tow rope to the glider lifting off in the background. I also got a ride.

While I don't have any .22 photos to post, I do have a great airplane photo. This is a Boeing 1929 C40 restored by a local restorer of aircraft (Addison Pemberton) that I met a couple of years ago. Please include me. I have no experience with aircraft, but have long been a rimfire lover. The attached link speaks of rimfire ammo over the years. Thanks https://www.nrablog.com/articl...-best-training-tool/ ________________________ "Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme"

Awesome karma, count me in! Here is a photo of my dad flying a P51 with my mom in the back seat- circa 1980ish. My dad flew for Ed Browning (grandson of John Browning) and Red Baron Aviation during most of the 70’s. "I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
