As I understand it, HIPPA appies only to doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, etc. A business or employer can ask you questions regarding your health, and you can choose to answer or not. You cannot violate your own privacy. Businesses, schools & employers can have their own requirements, and like it or not, you can follow those requirements, or be asked to leave.

I expect this to end up in court sooner or later, or new legislation being introduced.

This is correct. The individual is free to disclose his medical info or not, his/her choice. No one else gets that choice without your consent.

I expect it will end up in court, but the companies asking will win and the individual will lose IMO.

Companies have the right to ask and you have the right to decline to answer even though there are consequences. We already have this exact same situation in a lot of K-12 schools where other vaccinations are required as a condition of attendence.

Delta Air Lines just announced that all future employees must have the wu tang vaccine. They won't/can't force it on current employees, but they can and will prohibit flight crews who don't get it from operating to countries that require it. So far it seems to pass legal scrutiny, so I don't see any major challenges in the near future.

I do not believe there have been any documented food related transmissions of Covid19 thus far.
I would be far more concerned about Hepatitis transmission from those folks vs. the Wu-Flu.

I quit wearing a mask long ago. No body has said a word.

It is nice empowering people too. Was in line with my buddy at Qdoba for lunch today, no mask of course.
Saw a dude fumbling with his mask outside so he could come in. He looked across the way saw me and my buddy with no mask.
His face lit up and I could clearly see his brain said screw it and he stuffed the mask in his pocket and came in.
