Absolutely gorgeous! My mom was a quilter, too, and made some very nice quilts, but not that fantastic.

The Quilt is beautiful, but making it that personal comes from a beautiful heart and evidently for someone who is loved by his family.

On Veterans Day I saw a couple showing off a quilt that, I believe, was exactly the same thing.

I have seen some amazing quilts at the Kutztown Folk Festival in the handful of times that I have been there over the years, but the one your MIL made for you definitely takes the Shoofly Pie!
