| The trio of NJ/NY/CT dimwits are all in bed together with their actions....while we may be close to martial law I don’t think we are there yet....no national guard presence and local LE I know have been ordered from their chiefs NOT to arrest anyone out and about. Our governor hasn’t threatened fines against business that doesn’t close though...unlike NY.

| Not close to martial law. Martial law is an entirely different animal.
When citizens are rounded up and tried in military tribunals, you'll be there. Until then, it ain't martial law. |

| Oh Gawd, not this shit again. Calling out the National Guard to aid civil authorities in response to an emergency is NOT in any sense or shape MARTIAL LAW. Martial Law comes about when civil government totally breaks down, and the Zombies are running around in the streets. Have we reached that point yet?

| Michigan also activated a small contingent of NG to aid in distribution of essential equipment and food supplies to augment supply chain. IMHO, NG medical units and field hospitals should already be deploying with a sole focus on isolation and treatment of COVID to free up conventional hospitals to focus on what they normally do. Sharing resources and personnel where it makes sense also seems prudent. Work together to get ahead.

| I read the news story - doesn't appear to be any more severe than what we're doing in California. https://nypost.com/2020/03/21/...navirus-deaths-rise/I've seen people going about their personal business. The only REAL effect is that there are no big gatherings. I went to work yesterday, then picked my sister up at her work (she had no ride arranged to get home, and is mandated to be in the office right now). Traffic was lighter. Costco was lighter, and people were polite and going about their business. We'll get through this. I'm checking on Dad (101 years old) every day, and his next door neighbors have already told him to knock on their door if he needs anything relayed to me. |
