It's still up a buck over the offer price. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I was able to buy some of the IPO and watched it rise to $225 only to come down. This was expected and if my magic ball is correct I can see further decline in the price, particularly around mid August when an additional 20% of the stock becomes available and those people decide to cash out. Remember only 5% of the float is currently available. I’m planning on starting to purchase more shares when it drops to around $100, hopefully in about a month… ------------------ Eddie Our Founding Fathers were men who understood that the right thing is not necessarily the written thing. -kkina

They’re launching a DARPA. satellite later this month that has two articulating robot arms on it to test on-orbit repair technology Might also be useful for attaching to dead satellites for controlled de-orbits. I really hope this is a successful test.

Wasn't sure where to put this. https://www.newsmax.com/politi...dkt_nbr=010102vjxzgn Report: Musk Plans Massive Spending Push in Midterms Tech mogul Elon Musk plans to spend big to boost GOP voter turnout during the 2026 midterm elections, Axios reported. Musk is bringing back his super PAC, America PAC, which spent more than $260 million on President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. The PAC will focus on door-knocking, digital advertising, and direct mail aimed at getting out the vote from conservatives, targeting voters who typically don't vote in midterm elections, sources told Axios. Representatives for Musk declined to tell Axios how much he plans to spend. "America PAC was an essential partner for our historic GOTV operation in 2024, and their return for 2026 is a huge boost for Republicans across the country," James Blair, a senior political adviser to Trump, told Axios. "We will again outsmart our opponents and ruthlessly execute our mission for the GOP between now and Election Day," Blair added. Republican super PACs and committees have a $300 million advantage over Democrats, while Trump's super PAC MAGA Inc. has $400 million to spend, Axios reported. America PAC said it plans to coordinate with other Republican PACs, allowing them to focus on TV advertising, according to Axios. "The president's political team and the rest of the GOP apparatus have built a top-notch operation that will put Republicans in a strong position to buck history and retain control of Congress this fall, and we're excited to again be part of the team," America PAC spokesperson Andrew Romeo told Axios.

I see people have included posts about SPCX stock here. It's gone down quite a bit since I bought, but I am not selling. Just holding and waiting for the brighter future Elon promised me. _________________________ “Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. My two purchases are down about 25% combined, but I bought in planning it to be a long term hold as well. Hoping for Apple or Tesla like performance down the road. What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

So how about Tesla stock? I don't own individual shares in it. Is this still a good time to buy at around $300 a share? Added: SPCX up 8% today. _________________________ “Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. Evidently, trouble posting the entire article... https://finance.yahoo.com/tech...eport-132323178.html SpaceX's Q2 results top estimates in first-ever quarterly report SpaceX (SPCX) reported second quarter results on Tuesday that topped estimates — its first report as a public company — which comes as the stock has been in a recent free fall. SpaceX reported Q2 revenue of $7.8 billion vs $6.81 billion per Bloomberg consensus, up sequentially from $4.7 billion in Q1. SpaceX posted adjusted EBITDA of $3.5 billion vs $2.0 billion consensus expected. SpaceX stock slipped in after-hours trading. SpaceX said its Q2 capex spend came in at $18.37 billion, slightly below estimates for $18.58 billion The concern with SpaceX's large capital requirements — like those of other large AI frontier startups and even Oracle (ORCL), Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), and Meta (META) — is that its AI infrastructure investments will not generate a healthy return given the level of cash required. SpaceX's AI segment posted an operating loss of $1.26 billion vs estimates of $2.39 billion. Separately, SpaceX announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with Nvidia to design its Starmind AI-1 payload, which would bring "datacenter class compute" into orbit. The partnership will use Nvidia's Rubin GPUs and Vera CPUs, and increase SpaceX's peak satellite computing capacity to 250 kW. With its Q2 results behind it, a big overhang still looms.
