Best wishes to a quick recovery. Glad your boy is on the mend. We currently have a black juvenile female that was dumped several weeks before the cold snap we have been experiencing. This girl walked right into the trap like it was a cat carrier. While we TNR local feral cats, this super friendly girl is not one of them. We are trying to find a rescue/home as releasing her back where she was dumped is not an option nor is keeping her as we have too many already.

Hope your little guy makes a full recovery.

Heal up, little buddy!

We have one indoor cat, and two mostly outdoor cats who live on the pool deck, and in the barn. The outdoor cats have been coming in overnight in this cold weather, and the indoor cat is pissed, and has to stay upstairs to avoid an epic cat fight.

Glad Feeny is feeling better.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Such a special pic. That look on his face is as much about you as it is him, Feeny is yours now. It's a blessing, no?

Good to hear your boy is getting the care he needs. Smile

Perhaps this experience with such caring/concern from you & your wife will result in his going from a cat that 'comes into the house a couple of time a day', to one that decides he'd rather spend more time indoors with his people, and only go out a couple of times a day.

Glad he's going well. Wish you were closer, I would have taken care of him in a heartbeat. Orange cats are special, there's a reason Garfield was an orange tabby. People po po on my gut instinct sometimes, like smell, but after doings this for 30 years you realize it works.

Great news, and great looking out.

My outside cat family, a female tortoise shell (Pretty Girl), an orange male (Joe Cocker), who is her older son and three kits of hers I never named just had heavy losses about two weeks ago. I found one of her kit’s body (grey tortoise) in the next door side yard, found Pretty Girl about a half an hour later behind the house. Buried them. A neighbor said her kid found another kit (a tuxedo) by the retention pond sick but still alive. She brought it to a vet who discovered, of all things, small incisions that corresponded to a snake bite. They often hunkered down under the empty next door house. Tuxedo survived and will be adopted out if not already. Her black kit is MIA and presumed dead. Joe Cocker remains, now alone.

Have no idea what type of snake, it’s weird four of them got bit, I assume she and her kits curled up together. Snake probably looking for warmth.
